For all those who do not have an ice cream maker, you can try this: put it in a container and sick it in the freezer. Every 15 mins, take it out and whisk it well. Then, stick it back in until the next 15 mins where you need to take it out to stir. Repeat until it is fully set. (She says this in future videos so hopefully it applies to this recipe. Also, the texture will not be the same so don't expect perfect results with this method.) :)
Okay! :)
Haley Bombastic sick it in the freezer lmao
Ty ty
@Haley Bombastic
No need to keep taking it out of the freezer
Just keep it solid and and cut in to cubes and
Blend it enjoy 😊 it will almost be same results!!
Thanks!
I accidentally mixed in the lemon juice with the water 😳 now I’m trying to make a lemo slushee 😂
Still sounds good
Just made this, and it tasted AMAZING! Everyone in my family said it was too sour, but I loved it! It was the equal balance of sweet, sour, tangy and bitterness! I will try your mango sorbet next!
Too sour is what I want to hear
Love you, Laura! Thank you for so many delicious recipes and all of the positivity, inspiration and motivation that you give us!
super simple. unless you dont have an ice cream machine... -_-
+MrConvilla just chill the mixture and stir every 45 minutes for 7 hours :) it applies for any ice cream recipe. The texture might be a little off though as she said in her Mango Sorbet video.
+Sophia “Fifi” Kloss that's a lot of time is there any faster way?
+Crimson Hero not really. i just bought an ice cream machine lol
If you dont have an ice cream maker. Place into freezer for 4-6 hours or overnight. Then break up slightly & place into blender and blend just until smooth. And there you go! P.S this is coming from a chef!

You are absolutely right when it comes to the lemon juice! The lemon juice in the bottle taste completely different than fresh lemon juice!

U make lemon sorbet
She teaches how to do that in almost every of her ice cream recipe. Freeze the ice cream, and every 30 minutes put your electric mixer through it to break ice crystals. Do that until it is creamy and mostly frozen. Let it freeze compeltely.
I love Sorbets. Thanks for sharing this recipe
This just looks super refreshing. Homemade Lemon Sorbet. Will a blender work instead of an ice cream maker?
thank you so much for this tip....i don t have such a machine and will absolutly try it!
my favouerite icecream sorbet is coconut and sweet korn, that combination is made in heaven!
I just got one for my birthday! yay.

You can also make this with any citrus. I make sorbet all the time without a ice cream machine, love it!
Hi, What do you use. I would love to make this.
I love lemon sorbet, Laura. It's one of my favourites. I make berry sorbet too, with blackberries. Heaven! :o)
Completely agree! It would be awesome for Laura to make some gluten free desserts and bread recipes. :) Garlic knots? Yes please!

yeeeeeeah! i was just thinking that it would be so good to make my own lemon sorbet! thanks laura! just a little tip/recipe : put one or two pieces of lemon sorbet in a cold glass of orange juice, wait a minute and with a straw, just.... enjoy!!!! you really should try this and tell me what you think about it! have a nice day!
Would this recipe be the same as Italian ice?
take a freezer-safe bowl and put it in the freezer over night. also, put your ice cream mixture in the refrigerator. the next day, put the mixture in the cold bowl and every 30 minutes take it out of the freezer and stir it around for 5-6 hours, or until it's reached the consistency you want. hope this helps!
I like raspberry sorbet :D But this looks yummy too! I wonder if it would work with pink grapefruits?
Thank you for your efforts, We were gonna have it tonite, but i guess it will have to wait until tomorrow cheers
Orange sorbet is my fav. I wish I had an ice cram maker to make this.
I would love to see more healthy recipes!
fastingggggggggggggg and this looks so refreshing who's like meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?
Guys, if you watched her other videos, you would know that she already explained what to do if you don't have ice cream maker. From what I remember it was putting it into the refrigirator for a very longs time and mix from time to time. It takes a lot of time this method and it's not that effective but it will work. Just check her other videos.
love it like always , laura!
Looks soo good!
You are great. I loved it . thanks !
Made this recipe yesterday!! Turned out the right consistency this morning after freezing and stirring it because I don't have an ice cream machine x love this recipe, the only thing is its very very sweet, maybe less sugar would be better x
Can you make Lemon Lime Sorbet Recipe or the same if you were to make both?

Laura, pink is such a beautiful color on you!
fill a bowl with ice cubes then add one cup of salt and one with water then you place the pot with the lemon mixture in the bowl and stir it until its a sorbet :-)
I would Love to see more sorbet recipes from you! ♥

On Guam we Got Calamansi in my opinion is like a small Tangerine Hybrid mix in my opinion from eating lots of tangerines Lemons and Calamansi.
anywho Can I Use Calamansi instead of just Plain O' Lemons? C:
I love this recipe💖
Wow. Delicious looking . I'm gonna make it by all means. !!!
just put it in the freezer and steer once a hour (4-5times depending om how cold your freezer are) and then leeve it till you need it :D
Nice and simple! Thanks for sharing.
If you do not have an ice cream machine, but have access to dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) you can follow chef Heston Blumenthal's concept of adding dry ice to any mixture you want frozen, and stir fast, or use a stand mixer. If you do not have a stand mixer, fill a very large bowl with a LOT of ice in layers with salt. Push a smaller bowl into the larger bowl and add the mixture you want frozen. Stir fast.
Thank you! You have a new subscriber!
Can I use lime instead? I love lime sorbet!
yes try this put it in the freezer and stir it once a hour (4-5 times depending on how cold your freezer is) and then leave in the freezer until it gets to the perfect ice cream consistency!
They're easy to find and usually not that expensive :)
I substituted it and it worked!
Do more lemon flavored stuff as I love lemon
people you do realize that in one of her older videos she told people how to make ice cream or sorbet without an ice cream maker so please stop asking for her to do a video on how to do it without the ice cream maker.
i do :D and it's churning right now :D it's a blessing
you can just put it in a freezer safe conteiner with a lid or alluminum foill and put it in the freezer. every half hour or so take it out, give it a good stire and put it back in again. repeat for the next 4 hours and let it in the freezer for 3 hours in the least. it takes longer but it's a good alternative if you don't have a machine like me.
My husband and I love us some mango sorbet!
Laura should totally go on master chef
In one of Laura's older videos she showed us how to make frozen treats without the ice cream machine. You put the liquid into a cold bowl, place it in the freezer and every 15-30 minutes you have to stir the mix to break us the ice.
It look so delicious!
Can you make some kind of chocolate frozen desert please? I know that you made the nutella semifreddo, but I mean something with pure chocolate? Thanks Laura :) From Elizabeth, UK
Keep in mind that the mixture comes out not as it normally would. It's not as lump-free as when done with an ice-cream machine.
Laura i just opened my fridge n realized dat i hav PLENTY of fresh lemons. totally gonna try it!🍋🍦
Ugh I need to buy an ice cream maker ...it's worth it in my household because I love sorbet and ice cream all year round. Thx for this recipe!
it's delicious!! thank you
Those two perfect soft scoops
Can you do a peach sorbet whitout the ICE cream maker? Love you
I love basil & raspberry sorbet
I love lime sorbet!!!!
In a lot of her videos she states that if you do NOT have an ice creamer maker, you can put the mixture (ice cream) in the freezer and stir it every 30 minutes for about (i forget how many hours) 6? Hours. The texture won't be the same but im sure it will taste the same (:
i don't cook a lot and i'm not rich and i still have the ice cream maker.it's a must have.you can make delicious ice cream and you know what's in it.:D
i dont even cook but i still watch these
Put the ingredients with ice in a blender and let it go for 2-3 minutes or more, it depends :) that's it!
If you do not have an ice cream machine, you take a freezer safe bowl and let it freeze over night then add in the sorbet/ice cream and cover it with plastic wrap and keep stirring it every 45 min for about 6-7 hrs (wont have the same texture as if you were to use an icecream machine but this is just a second option). she also explains it in her other videos when she uses a ice cream maker
Happy 600,000 SUBBIESS
THANK YOU I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Can you do a cupcake with peanut butter frosting?
Blades from an old mixer work great to juice citrus!
