whether its NDA or not at least JYP let her have solo career in other company unlike SM whose always bitter to those who left or got kick out of the company and ban them
To be fair until she decides to address it the question will always loom over her. People hold onto these things for years. People still want to know about Jessica and Taeyeon
Yeah honestly I think not addressing it will have poor impact on her reputation. People were very concerned about her wellbeing when she left so for her to just redebut as a soloist it makes her look bad or like she had a problem with the group. Even if that is not the case of course some people will make that assumption.
@@youtubeaccount2775very true. It's also just not cool to barely debut and leave the girls hanging just cause she always wanted to go solo. Seems pretty messed up

Yeah, when artists leave JYPE, they usually say for "personal reasons" because it allows the artist to continue on their career without it being an issue. Plus even in their statement, they told people to support Jini in her new career.
People acting like JYPE is the worst company when in reality even if the artists that left JYP take a dig at them, they didn’t blacklist or do a smear campaign against their former employees like Woojin, GoT7, Sunmi, Somi, etc. JYPE allow the ex employees to go and use the “personal reason” card so they can still work after and it wouldn’t be as messy for both parties. Unlike what happened to Chuu, a lot of ex SM artists, etc.
Jyp is fucking terrible. You’re delusional as FUCK. If they blacklisted “artists” (can’t really call them that since they’re mostly children who have not been trained to do what artists do; write their own shit) other, more respectable companies that have an ounce of care for their employees wouldn’t care. Tbh I am DYING to know too. Training for 7 years AND getting to debut in the Big3 is a huge deal, as it gives you automatic fame at least at the start of your career and many opportunities to model, act, collab and more.
Maybe eventually she'll tell us but prob won't be for at least 10+ years from now. As a Korean living in Korea rn I could only speculate but it could by for any reason. IMO I think it could have been due to the group not being popular especially the first year. I know some rabid netizens are going to say it's false or "look at the sales" but the reality is they basically flopped here and are still somewhat struggling. Their debut song was very controversial and not received well which immediately turned off dedicated JYPE fans and the general public. Not to mention they immediately got overshadowed by their sister groups TWICE, Itzy and the massive 4th gen wave of GG's that are dominating. But their music was not popular here in Korea. They didn't receive a single award their debut year which is extremely rare for a group of the "Big 3" to not achieve. Their debut is very similar to LIGHTSUM. A reputable big company that kind of debuted a group that lacked an identity. Their songs weren't catchy and it just didn't seem to fit the group's aethestics and vibe. But honestly as a k-pop fan since 1st-gen (I'm older now) their entire debut year here was just not popular with young fans, their members didn't resonate with the public as much and they just honestly got pushed out of the spotlight with the likes of AESPA, LSF, G-IDLE, ITZY, etc. So "IF" I had to guess it's maybe she say how bad the group was doing and didn't like the direction JYPE was going to take the group and decided to try and jump early and brand herself well as a solo artist. I've seen countless BG and GG's over the years have good music and loyal followings but never really noticed here or considered as major groups etc. As someone who really does like JYP and its artists they definitely whiffed hard on their debut. I vividly remember none of their music being played here at stores, clubs, etc and nobody talking about them. I think they're a talented group but I don't know if JYPE still has any idea what they want NMIXX to be. Best of luck to them and all the GGs but man 4th-gen is super strong with better GGs IMO
i understand it’s personal but usually it’s not too difficult to find out why a member left but jini’s case is really mysterious. that’s why people are so interested. regardless i’m gonna support her because i love her style
for someone who already trained 7 yrs and got out of a contract....the reason is that bad that it will either damage the company, former group or her current career...whatever reason, she is brave to be a soloist....wish her the best 🫰
It's possible, it's also quite possible that it's something like needing to promote and release albums at a slower pace than JYPE does, for mental/physical health reasons or something. JYPE artists promote at a breakneck pace with back to back to back to back to back promotions month after month year after year. Just off the top of my head, Mina, Jeongyeon, and now Lia all had to take breaks due to anxiety breakdowns. Could also be an artistic direction difference and she doesn't want to miss out on creating what SHE wants to create, you only have one life and time is the one thing you can't get back. A myriad of reasons are possible, and if it's something like health/mental health, that's intensely personal, you don't owe that to anyone no matter how de-stigmatized it is.
People in the comments have good ideas with Nmixx flopping, creative differences etc, but from her Bubble messages before her departure, the way it all unfolded, the fact that they had to cut her from an already filmed MV, the way she answered this question... it's more likely she was let go by JYPe. Maybe she broke a rule or something. Idols can't just leave after less than a year, right before a comeback, when they'd signed for 7 years. Fifty Fifty case anyone? She probably signed NDA to be able to leave JYPe in peace. They could've made it difficult for her to redebut so I'm really glad they left her alone and she can be a soloist now. I know everyone's curious but she probably literally can't say why she left so it's best to leave it and wish her a good career. I hope she'll be successful, she's so talented!
I think that people who think she left by choice don't know anything about how kpop contracts work. They would never dissolve a contract just because the idol wants to leave... they MAKE the contracts to prevent idols from leaving just because they want to.
Like exo former members still paid to sm money years after leaving because of their contract, even though they had multiple evidence of mistreatment and health issues....Loona members case was unfortunate yet till now months later they are still in court fighting to be free
Imagine if rookie idols had a stipulation in their contracts allowing them to terminate the agreement if the concept doesn't align with their taste. Such a provision could be disastrous for the music industry lol
Please i need the mystery to unfold 😭 i was wondering for so long but just hoped it was a good reason and that she was okay and not forced😢💜 But i respect her decision and i hope she thrives the way she wanted as a solo artist.
she was obviously forced out. you don't need the mystery to unfold, just support her and stop asking questions. Obviously it's something negative so they don't want to talk about it. If it could be discussed she would've already discussed it.
Then why did she left a bubble message that she was excited for the expergo cb? She literally got cut from the photoshoot that's why lily is the only one with the pink bg & their group photoshoot is just them in a collage, because she was included in the photoshoot and the editors had to edit the pictures last minute. Girlie was included in expergo & most likely recorded midsummer with the girls but due to her "leaving" the rest of the nmixx girlies were tasked to restart the shooting & music recording. It was indeed so sudden for her departure when she was included a lot in expergo.
If its a personal reason then we shouldnt try to poke our heads in it. We should just support her during her solo debut since shes finally back in the industry.
“Personal reason” lol she just needed JYP and NMIXX to boost her career, if it was so personal why was she so quick to start a solo? “Finally back” yea ok
You cant blame people for asking. Why would someone train for SEVEN YEARS just to leave right after debut? She was probably kicked out without the choice but they tried to make it look like it was her decision to save face.
There ain't no way she left because she hated the music, she's literally cut off last minute from expergo photoshoot, music recording & MV shooting😂 its hard to break a contract under a huge entertainment, this just indicates she got kicked out.
Uhm if her claim to fame was being in Nmixx and she mysteriously left and now debuted as a soloist, obviously people are gonna ask her about that? The only reason people have interest in her is because they knew her from Nmixx, otherwise she would just be a random unknown soloist. Why do yall act shocked and think is so disrespectful to ask her about it when it’s what is on everyone’s mind? Yall coddle kpop idols way too much, this is a normal question. Any western artist would have to answer and explain at length if they suddenly left a group they were on and started a solo career
I don't think so, in my opinion Jini, sulyoon, and lily in NMIXX are such a waste of talent, the management don't give them a song that can make them shine. Their song is not well received by people, even worse, they got a lot of hate, their group also don't get attention and popularity as much as a new girlgroup from big companies used to be. Like look how booming itzy, twice or another 4 gen gg from big company in their first year (like aespa, lesserafim, ive, NJ). So i think it is good for jini to leave nmixx, because yes, the group is not promising :")
@@fetchan28 Just because the songs are not popular with the GENERAL public, doesn't mean they're not good songs. Lots of people absolutely love O.O and DICE. Lily, Sullyoon, and everyone's vocals shine in all their songs. If you gave them any of the NJ or IVE songs that are "popular", they wouldn't have been able to showcase their powerful and unique vocals. So no, NMIXX songs absolutely suit their voices :)
@@lialexamusicjust because some people like their songs doesn't mean those are great to justify the sheer amount of talent they have. Probably jinni didn't think she deserves to be in such a group where the songs are not what she prefers or in general she didn't like the concept........its like 1d situation. When they were at peak Zayn suddenly left .....his sole reason was music not being his favourite and he never liked their concept.....looking at jinni's solo debut it should be clear what is her music preference and its quite different from nmixx......plus general public appreciation is way too important for a smooth successful career. Than minority liking the music....cuz if majority of People don't like the songs, the album won't be sold, and if the album don't sold well , the company will eventually forget them.........jyp already has 5 active girl groups except twice others are just lost regarding the concept.when other girl group have own colour, jyp's ggs are really failing .you guys need to understand that after 7 Years of training it wasn't easy to leave the group just because of personal issues. I don't think she even left because of health issues.so there should be 2 possibilities. 1.she didn't like the concept at all 2.something she did / wanted to that JYP wouldn't approve or align with. I would say that she is really brave enough to leave such big company to start from scratch. She is trained well ,talented and hardworking woman. Definitely she will do well in her solo Career.and we all should accept that rather pinpointing " she suits nmixx " everytime she is on stage. Nmixx is already a past for her.
@@lialexamusic yes, i don't talk about good or bad song. Literally i talk about popular or not popular. Kpop is business, for idol it is their job, their source of income, it is their life. Can you imagine training so many years just to get songs that is not like by majority of people? (Yes there are people who like nmixx song, including me, but we cannot deny the fact that majority of people are not into it). And now see how jini solo debut, you can see she really enjoying the performance, we can see what kind of music she is love.
Kpop fans double standard is astounding based on the comments here and most places. People are allowed to assume that J.Y.P.E. is the one at fault for her departure while people couldn't assume that it's Jini's fault. I just want to say that idols aren't saints and they can do malicious things so stop assuming that the companies are always the perpetrator.
😂😂 people in the comments thinking she left by choice, you guys are aware that its not easy to break a contract and leave just because you feel like it in K-pop , and the fzct that she wont talk about it is proof, she could have just Said i wanted to be a soloist or i wanted to have my own concept, but the fact that she cant talk about it means she was kicked out .
it happened with 2pm, wonder girls, day6, stray kids and nmixx, like a tradition. don’t remember if hyuna left herself but the others were kicked out and none of them, except for jay park, never directly talked about the reasons behind those situations.
Most of us do want to know why she left tbh. It’s odd, especially considering she left after being in JYP as a trainee for so long, and then already having just debuted. Yes, she’s entitled to her privacy, but quite frankly a lot of fans were hurt she left with no explanation, so it’s only natural that people want answers. Anyway, I guess she’ll speak about it one day (if she can).
I think something happened big with her so jyp removed her if it comes out then it will destroy whole group.I don't think she left by herself because 6 year old trainee debuted under one of big 3 entertainment in korea cant left herself logically just because she don't like their songs not even a year completed.
Exactly! I wonder why there are still people believing a rumor that says she left such a big agency just because she doesn’t like a song. Bruh, it is such a gambling 😂 There’s contract too and it is not something that can be easily terminated.
I bet there's a lot of legal stuff behind cameras that's why she can't divulge the details. But JYP probably kicked her out (not her leaving on her own accord) for breaking some contractual rules, like dating rules for example. She trained for 7 years in JYP and she was dubbed as an all-rounder during her trainee days. I doubt JYP and Jinni would easily let goof her place in the group that easily unless there are bigger issues behind it.
Something bad must happenned thats why she doesnt want to tell the truth. Also if she departed from nmixx bcoz of good reason then she should be able to answers it without problem
Bad could mean multiple things tho. Maybe she fought with the members but she wouldn’t say that cuz that makes her look bad. Or maybe one or more of the members were ignoring her but she won’t say that either bc she stands to gain nothing from ruining other’s reputations. But the fact she is starting a solo career pretty fast seems to be a clue towards the fact that both parties realized that there were signs of friction so it would be more beneficial to have her go on her own career path than with nmixx. That would make sense to why they dissolved her contract instead of keeping her in the group.
I don't think she left, probably was kicked out, it's hard to believe the company approved or her leaving. Maybe she broke a rule and was kicked out, JYPE is know for doing that
I was thinking that maybe she dated someone cause in JYP they have a dating ban of 3 years. Either that or a falling out with the members or having personal life impact her work performance.
Or it's something that makes her look bad, but because it was under wraps, her new company doesn't care because she was very popular in NMIXX and even pre debut.
@@arikaawow2626 lol of course it's a bad reason. Why else would someone leave a group that they trained 7 years to debut in? Look at Jay Park when they disclosed the reason he was kicked out. Shit was bad for him at that time. It's better that no one says anything this time. Don't think she will recover if the reason is revealed.

I think *the real reason is she want the spotlights for herself* People in these days keep thinking debut as Soloist in kpop world are considered as fail, selfish & betray career. Everyone must understand *not every kpop trainee/idol want to debut as group but Soloist* Every *kpop idol want the creative freedom and spotlight for themselves to present their "light"* Imagined you have trained a lot of year and keep overshadowed by other member? I wouldnt surprised if someone left and debut as soloist If they happy for this decision, thats good for them
Props to the showcase mc for handling that question 👏 I'm sure it was expected for the journalists to bring up nmixx but its nice that the host did that
She shines so much, I'm selfishly happy for the audience that we get to see her front and center 100% of the time! (ZERO hate intended to NMIXX, I loved her in NMIXX and I love her now, also I love NMIXX!) I hope that everything is peaceful in her personal life and wish well to everyone!
She can't answer it maybe bcoz there's an agreement between her/JYP not to disclose or maybe she doesn't want to hurt anyone, for sure it'll b revealed after NMIXX and Jinni's career
I think we all want to know but more than anything I’m happy for her that she was able to comeback to the music scene. I often think that maybe some idols are better of as a soloist i can see how much she shines by herself she’s very talented I can’t wait to see what the futures holds for her ❤
That was a kind of inappropriate question though...I mean, she’s clearly trying to move on from NMIXX and make a name for herself. I get that everyone is extremely curious but it wasn’t the right time to ask that question. Also, she clearly doesn’t want to talk about it so we need to respect that. (Edit: I know it’s just journalism and it isn’t surprising and they have to ask questions like that, I was just saying...)
Honestly, it's just journalism... everyone's wondering, so it's natural to ask. Now we got an answer. If they hadn't asked now, it would be asked by someone else soon anyway.
even if she want to move on from NMIXX korean media wont let it, every article about her was always titled Jini NMIXX former member she was never introduced as Jini the solo artist
Damn this song deserves more promotion. I didn’t know it’s released before watching this vid! Jini slaying as always❤ I’m so happy she finally redebuted yay. Now we need some other idols that got kicked out to debut(chuu also debuted solo too with underwater!)
That reminds me of Jay Park back in 2pm days. Sure it’ll haunt her and we will probably never get a straight answer why she left, but she will do well. Everyone who left JYPE did well
I think she is brave for doing that! Leaving a group, knowing many might hate her for that or keep asking the same question. I believe when time will come, she will share. If not, this is her decision. And those who can’t respect that, well, such people don’t deserve respect either.
she might've signed NDA but, NDA have expiration (just like Shannon Williams) i think she'll reveal it when the time comes or the other party will do it.
be grateful u didn't saw the comment section on her yt showcase live. I feel bad for myself for witnessing something that bad, disrespectful and disgusting.
At least she's having a bit of success, while we can't say the same for the ex Stray Kids member, Woojin.. he left after a year and a few months of being in the group, right before a comeback (they had to re-record all the songs for the comeback and they had to postpone the comeback for a few weeks). It was so sudden! Anyways, he isn't having any sort of success since then, I've never seen him on music shows and I think that now he is really regretting leaving SKZ, because they're finally getting recognized and people are seeing how much hard working and amazing and talented they are. They are having finally a lot of success. In the case of Jini, I can see that she ie being promoted much more, she goes to music shows, etc... I hope that her carreer path will continue like this and that it will continue to grow ☺️ and I'm sorry for Woojin and for his carreer.. but maybe it is karma for "not keeping the promise" all members made with each other? (These words about a promise are Chan's, we Stays don't know specifically what it is about, but we can easily imagine what it is). Edit: I edited some grammar mistakes (sorry if still there are, English is my 4th language, so there might still be some mistakes .
From the future : jini is now very rude with fans and it’s sad. Maybe she WAS THE PROBLEM … fans are Cute and with her and she treats them very in a bad way 😢
I like to believe that this is "U Mad" but from the winner's perspective inside the game , like while playing Bobby's just so creative with his music and concepts How he made such a hard hitting song fit a retro video game conept is beyond me ❤❤❤ I'm loving this era of him unleashing his creativity, I might be greedy for a full album like before but damn those mini albums are like gormet shit , I'm full and satisfied 😭🙏❤️ First we got funky , then sentimental now hardcore energy ! Can't wait for what's yet to come Dude's like a shounen anime protagonist, looks chill and nerdy but he hits you with stuff like this and leaves you in awe ❤
This happens to every idol who leaves their group. Even after 10 years later, they will get asked these question. Well, if their group still relevant by then
ikr? honestly this might sound weird, but jini leaving is a big lost to nmixx. no im not just talking about vocals, besides that shes the best dancer & has a good flow when rapping, she also has a lot of experience considering she trained for 7 yrs + she's a decent vocalist. what nmixx lacks r rap & jini is the perfect person for that besides jiwoo
@@christine3314she can't rap nor does jiwoo. Nmixx is literally the weakest in rap, she might be a good performer but she's nowhere near as good as lily, haewon, sullyoon & kyujin as a vocalist. Heck, even jiwoo is beating her when it comes to singing. She isn't even the best dancer in the group nor she carried the group through guestings. She literally was overshadowed because the members are better than her.
« It will haunt her during her career »?? She just stayed a year with NMIXX, it’s fine? It’s not like Jessica of SNSD who made several albums with the group. That’s harder to not think of her when talking about SNSD, imo. She had such a big presence, being known for her fashion taste, ice queen name, and main vocalist. Honestly, i think no matter the reason, it happened, Jini managed to bounce back, to move forward, she is talented, might as well make her own name in the industry. I am very proud of both her and Jessica for not giving up their dream as a singer/idol, and wish them both the best.
I think she jumped shipped because she thought NMixx were going to flop big time. However NMixx has bounced back and slowly climbing back up the popularity ladder. I think JYP likes to experiment with groups. Like Stray Kids he let Chan do what he wants. That could have gone either way, it was an experiment and could have failed but luckily 3racha were talented enough to make good music and the boys were charismatic enough to win loyal fans. With NMixx I actually liked their debut music but they were too quirky for mainstream K-pop. JYP had to re think their music. I also believe that if Lily was not in that group they would probably have disbanded but JYP spent 7 years developing her and she already had a fan base so I think he re branded them as a a vocal group and finally gave them more mainstream material to keep them going.
She wont answer because it will open her up to criticism. If it was something like “I just wanted to go in a different direction with my music career”, she would answer. But it was most likely a falling out with members.
@@Chris-qh5tznope even falling out won't cause her to leave (multiple groups has told they fought in that company) she probably broke one of jyp rules because few days before leaving she was talking about how excited she was for the new music and she filmed the MV and recorded all the songs

that just means she left because she got a better offer, I imagine there was a lot of drama over her contract with JYP and that's why she doesn't want it discussed. She doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but at the same time, it does just make her look shady and greedy if she doesn't explain it
Why dont she just said that she leave because she wanted to become a solo artist and group thing doesnt suit her? that's quite a legit & understandable reason right?

Maybe it was intended for her to debut as a solo artist. JYP didn't had a new solo artist for years
for someone who already trained 7 yrs and got out of a contract....the reason is that bad that it will either damage the company, former group or her current career...whatever reason, she is brave to be a soloist....wish her the best 🫰
True, this question would probably haunt her in her career
I hope she'll be successful, she's so talented!
she didnt wanna say SHOOG SHOOG again. 💀

From girl group to solo stage, she soars, JINI, the tiger, forever exploring new shores! 🌟
I think that people who think she left by choice don't know anything about how kpop contracts work.
They would never dissolve a contract just because the idol wants to leave... they MAKE the contracts to prevent idols from leaving just because they want to.
Exactly!
Like exo former members still paid to sm money years after leaving because of their contract, even though they had multiple evidence of mistreatment and health issues....Loona members case was unfortunate yet till now months later they are still in court fighting to be free

@@arikaawow2626 This is the same case for Woojin. They just say "personal reasons" but it makes no sense and remains a mystery.

@@michaelblue4619. First u don’t know her to be sure about this

There ain't no way she left because she hated the music, she's literally cut off last minute from expergo photoshoot, music recording & MV shooting😂 its hard to break a contract under a huge entertainment, this just indicates she got kicked out.
Are there leaked photos of jinni in expergo or something??
The mc handled it REALLY well
Uhm if her claim to fame was being in Nmixx and she mysteriously left and now debuted as a soloist, obviously people are gonna ask her about that? The only reason people have interest in her is because they knew her from Nmixx, otherwise she would just be a random unknown soloist. Why do yall act shocked and think is so disrespectful to ask her about it when it’s what is on everyone’s mind? Yall coddle kpop idols way too much, this is a normal question. Any western artist would have to answer and explain at length if they suddenly left a group they were on and started a solo career
It's very odd that she left. She fit NMIXX so well.
1.she didn't like the concept at all
2.something she did / wanted to that JYP wouldn't approve or align with.
@@lialexamusiceven big artists like bts took YEARS to gain popularity
Training for 7 years is insane, I will never understand the kpop industry
I think something happened big with her so jyp removed her if it comes out then it will destroy whole group.I don't think she left by herself because 6 year old trainee debuted under one of big 3 entertainment in korea cant left herself logically just because she don't like their songs not even a year completed.
Exactly! I wonder why there are still people believing a rumor that says she left such a big agency just because she doesn’t like a song. Bruh, it is such a gambling 😂
There’s contract too and it is not something that can be easily terminated.
I doubt JYP and Jinni would easily let goof her place in the group that easily unless there are bigger issues behind it.
i hope she got the recognition as a soloist or atleast i see her going down Natty’s path at the end.
Basically, Jini said, “It's none of your business, all due respect.” 😅

That would make sense to why they dissolved her contract instead of keeping her in the group.
woojin couldn’t say why he left either
I don't think she left, probably was kicked out, it's hard to believe the company approved or her leaving. Maybe she broke a rule and was kicked out, JYPE is know for doing that

At least she's having a bit of success, while we can't say the same for the ex Stray Kids member, Woojin.. he left after a year and a few months of being in the group, right before a comeback (they had to re-record all the songs for the comeback and they had to postpone the comeback for a few weeks). I am sure it's must. Have been a hella tough decision to leave JYPE after do many years of training . She is a tough gurl

Think about Park Jieun of Purple Kiss or Shin Jiyoon of Weeekly they left their respective groups for personal reasons and heath issues and are now living a normal life out of the public eye.
@@halcyonfiles y’all slandered him for a year with no evidence and ruined his career. nothing is confirmed, y’all just want to be right. people are still slandering woojin til this day saying he “betrayed” his group and that he’s a bully and a liar. if y’all keep making up theories instead of minding your business, y’all are gonna ruin jini too. or is that what y’all want to happen?
If it’s personal, she may say later. If she did something wrong, she’ll probably never say Lmao
