3 degrees... Rough man, that's just brutal... Excellent idea gathering up some footage for the winter months ahead. Appreciate the shout-out and love what you are doing here. I watch a bunch of channels and enjoy the variety of motorcycles. You're my Kawasaki guy. 😂 Stay safe and warm over there!!! See you on the next video of yours.
Hey buddy, Yeah there are too many things happening just now that are turning against riding, nowhere in sight to park, temps dropping, will get down to around - 15°C in Dec, & battery playing up , So it's time, appreciate your interactions mate & also enjoy your channel, Enjoy your beautiful weather for us, I'll ride vicariously through your posts haha Cheers
@@SwenglishSteve650still rideable at the moment though heated gear is a must. But as soon as the road salt goes down my bikes go into hibernation till spring. 🤣
@thesilverfoxtravels6653 Yeah I hear ya, I've been looking at a heated under jacket, but I'd be uesing it when as you say grit & salt are being put down, & it just fits the bike, If you have an ATV it's possible to continue I guess , but not for me
Yeah this cold weather is brutal, my fingers haven’t recovered two hours later! I’ve had winter riding gloves and inner thermal gloves & they still were in agony after 25 minutes. Not sure if you’ve tried XCP Rust blocker?Been very nicely surprised!
Yeah don't fancy riding without my heated handgrips, I've done my share of winter riding in East Sussex when younger, I could feel the cold in my hands just reading your description haha. No I haven't tried that rust blocker. Thanks for the tip. Cheers
I used to have a tracker on my old SV650 that always drained the battery if I didn't use it for a week. I ended up fitting a trickle charger lead under the back seat because getting to the battery was a pain. Also I didn't stall it was just a prank.........Heres an idea, smell cancelling nosebuds? I think theres a gap in the market!
Hahaha we all know the truth, Yeah I've got a trickle charge lead installed now with a CTEK mxs 5 charger going, I'm just glad it was an easy fix , Definitely a market for something like that, egg farters & snot sniffers on a morning bus journey make me want to unalive people 🤣
@@SwenglishSteve650 I hate public transport. Ill take a train if I have to but Ill never board another bus ever again! Unless the train is broken then Ill probably have no choice...
@SloboloboVFR Yeah it comes down to no choice mate, company I work at is on an Industrial site outside the town..I'll just have to put Vicks rub under my nose haha
How cold does it get? Wait just answered that. 🥶 Is it a difficult process to get your bike out of storage? Could you get in a ride if you get a random good day for riding? Nevermind. You just answered that too. 😂 Thanks for the shout out!! It’s cool to see our moto channels grow together.
@21_Moto Hahaha writing & watching, a classic Tuber habit 🤣 It will get down to an average of -15°C to -20°C , but has gone so far as -27°C , Man it was cool of Motojitsu to post your video, & yeah its great fun meeting other channel's Cheers
@TKRydezz Hahaha, Its a slippery slope mate, careful, cause if you get another one, soon you'll wanna wear Adidas spandex training pants, then it's over hahaha 😆
@revfree Thanks for looking in man, appreciate it, Yeah typical, cut across 2 lanes with no indication, not a biggie, but standard, Ive seen that driver before, he actually stopped on that very roundabout once causing me to break while cornering, then just drove off, so gave him distance this time, Not my best vid as it's so dark, the last ride this season as the weather gets way to harsh here for my old bones, anyway I've done my fair share of winter riding through the year's, so know I'm not missing much, Cheers
@ I’ll ride down to about 40 degrees F (4.4 Celsius) but don’t like to ride for long when it’s below 50 degrees F (10 degrees Celsius) if i can help it. It’s good to get out when you’re feeling cooped up but I feel like even when you have heated gear the extreme cold can make riding pretty dangerous. Hopefully We will survive watching UA-cam for the winter 😂😂
@bearded653 Haha yeah sorry about that buddy, the vid wasn't planned it was totally on the fly, as soon as I got the bike actually started I just went & improvised For those who are interested in WW1 & 2 history you can still visit, check The Bearded Drifters page, , I guess the Bearded Biker got a free shout out 🤣
