I'm currently restoring my T2. I imported it from Malawi where I was living. It's owned by the former president of Malawi so has great history. I can't wait to get it back on the road this year.
I got a 73 devon .... same style pop at the top as yours, but i have hammocks as well... interior wasn't much different either but i have swapped it out now. Nice ride though.
Joe, do you know what version of camper this is? It looks like it has sliding side windows instead of jalousie windows & I don’t recognize the cabinets. I don’t see wood interior panels. Do you know if the interior was customized?
Hi Paul! This is a Devon Eurovette. The cabinets are all the original wood, the interior wasn’t customised. Only thing that’s been done really is recovering the cushions, but I’m getting rid of those very soon anyway :) thanks for watching!
JOE Films I’m not familiar with the Devon Eurovette but I think I’ve heard of it. My 1970 is a Westfalia & I was contemplating removing the jalousie windows & installing the sliding version. It would most likely quiet it down a bit.
I've got a 69 Westfalia Bay, not too far from you in Wiltshire, yep the speedo is out on mine too, lol. Just get used to going slow. Although I get bored quickly (I've had loads of Aircooled Vdubs) so its up for sale... Are you on the Early Bay FB page?
Hey great video! Especially as I’m looking to purchase one myself! Did you do much research on where to find the best one and have you got any tips? Cheers
Hey David!! Thanks for the kind words 🙏🏼 I did a lot a lot a lot of research. Still probably not enough, and in the end just went with my heart really. You’ll know when you find the one you *really* want. Good luck 🤙🏼
Thanks Aram! The XT4 is great!! Love the footage that comes out of it, and still yet to use my Ninja V with it, so looking forward to that. The IBIS is okay, not like my GH5 was, but my Fuji takes a zillion times nicer photos, so I’m happy with that trade off. Hope you’re well man :)
The autofocus is actually good! But I only really use it when I have the native 10-24mm fujinon on it. In my intro video to van, I had my canon 16-35 on it, and found it hunted a little bit, and was a little snappy and not very consistent. May get better with updates to camera or Fringer adapter 🤷🏻♂️

I meant to say it was owned by the former president, Hastings Banda!

Nice bus...👍
I’ve had a 1971, 1974 & a ‘77….I know how you feel!
Ive got a T25 needing a new engine... Im looking at purchasing a T2 similar to yours looks awesome great vid
Stick with the t25 and fit another engine. It's a far superior van with loads more space inside.
Looking for another before Christmas to take with me all other the UK coastal regions before I do European coasts in 2 years time.
I got a 73 devon .... same style pop at the top as yours, but i have hammocks as well... interior wasn't much different either but i have swapped it out now. Nice ride though.
My first video of yours, loved it. Subscribed. Welcome to the dub club!
Appreciate the kind words :) I'm pretty sure you were my 200th sub, which is HUGE!! You'll always hold a special place in my heart :P
@@JOEFilmstube Well now i feel special. I know ZERO about videography, but this looks good to me! Keep it up!

That’s awesome man! Sad you’re selling though... although, by the sounds of it, another one will be on the horizon lol. I just joined the group 👍🏼
@@JOEFilmstube Cheers, I'm hoping we might be able to stretch to a Splittie but we will see! Depends what I get for mine.
nice bus
Thanks Patrick!!
Yo man what grateful dead tune was that , sounded mint
I believe it was Dancin' In The Streets. But if you're new to the Dead, listen to their Cornell '77 live album. Enjoy! 🤙🏼
What suspension and rims you installed .

Hi, do you have the beige paint code, thank you
Oh man. What a beaut. Glad you got it started! lol. Hows the XT4 working out?

@@JOEFilmstube the colours look gorgeous. Does the autofocus work ok? All good my end! Hope you're doing alright!

Beautiful bus, what’s is the color code, name? Mine is getting painted,
Thank you so much!! The colour, as I mentioned in the video, is Savannah Beige (an original VW colour) and the code is L620
👑
How much was it I’m thinking of getting one?
The price of a bud varies a lot, depending on conversion type, condition, upgrades etc. Best to look around and find one that ticks all your boxes 👍🏼
Ur driving on the wrong side of the road. Sick van tho
