Love how Boysenberry is supervising the project. Cats can be so talented!

Hi, I have what I think is your original version of the trousers patter and will be taking a course where we get the expansion pack. Is the back piece (back leg) the same, just with darts jn the fitted version? Or a whole new shape?
I ask because I'm making up a toile to check fit and whether the fabric I have in mind is too thick. If the pieces are really different, it might not be a sensible test ...
    Great video tutorial, thank you.

Hi! What a wonderful course--I hope you have loads of fun in it!
As far as the pattern goes, the back pant on the expansion is very similar to the original, but there is more of a curve between the hip and waist as well as the addition of the darts. But the leg itself is the same, as long as you have the most updated version of the original Chandler's (They underwent some pattern tweaking about a year or so ago).

Hi! I just wanted to ask which of the pocket pieces from the original chandler pants pattern is used for this version?

Hi! The original pocket piece you need from the Chandler's will be the Front pocket bag, so the one that has a slash through it and attaches itself to the front pants themselves. The back pocket bag was redrafted and should be included in your Expansion files!

@@UntitledThoughts is it meant to be cut on the straight fly marking?

The pockets? It sounds like you might have the original version of the Chandler Pattern, but I recently updated it entirely so that the pockets no longer get attached to the fly front at all. If you'd like the updated version, feel free to email me. Otherwise, yes, I think you should cut your pockets along the straight fly marking so that the zip front doesn't get too bulky with fabric. I hope this helps!
