I watch several large families on UA-cam and can honestly say that I love how you allow your kids to be kids and do not make the older ones responsible for the younger ones. Many large families use their older children as surrogate parents. You and your husband actually parent each child. I LOVE it! Those children are so blessed to have you as parents. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Well I would have lost MY mind around 9AM. I thought getting 2 little girls ready in the morning was a challenge. LOL God gave you and your husband some extra energy and a whole bunch of love and patience. I love that you don't make the older children responsible for the younger and allow them to just be kids.
Yes, she works so hard because she has a large family - but getting two little girls ready in the morning is not a challenge in the slightest...the problem could be you or your children's behaviour...

As a nanny for over 20 years who has worked for multiple different families with different amounts of children and also worked in a daycare with 10 two year olds plus have my own child I can tell you that yes sometimes only one or two kids can be a challenge. Depending on the day. Let’s not tear other parents down because things are sometimes a struggle. Each day is a different story.

I loved how one of the kid i think one of the twin say, 'Mom you looking beautiful' while you were ready to get out of the house. Best compliment a mom can ever get! Literally nobody else's comment on your looks matter Alicia. You are beautiful inside and out and we are fortunate enough to witness it! ❤️

I have *SO* much respect for you! You & your husband are heroes in so many ways. I was {am} a single mom of two who are a yr apart & I struggled to get us to church on time every Sunday. It seemed like no matter how early I got us started, we were late. They were 2 & 3 by the time I finally got our system together.

Spot on! You totally know the secret of getting the day going. You get up earlier than the kids and get ready first. I see a real lack of that with some families today. When my kids were little, I got up before they did, got showered, dressed, hair & makeup and breakfast going. Kudos!!

I only have one 3 year old son and I’m still always late to church! He fights me on everything and my husband always wakes up right when we’re supposed to leave. See I love your videos cause they’re VERY realistic 😭, a lot of videos like these they try to make it appealing and aesthetically nice, like not showing their child crying or throwing a tantrum. I came across your channel by accident, and I love it. I'm nearby (Greece) and have friends in Chili who have 10 kids. I was their babysitter growing up, and their mom was a calm supermom like you. Now they're all grown up and there are about 30 grandkids. I still see most of them frequently at church and they're all great kids. Blessings to you.

You see, I am Chinese and i was given the opportunity to be an exchange student to Ottawa Illinois for my senior year. Sillllly question, I grew up in a very big family. When we all got ready for church, we usually ran out of hot water (showers). How do you and your family manage/address this issue?
I’m not exactly sure how they manage, but i’d guess half of them probably shower at night and the other half maybe showers in the morning. I’m not sure tho haha
@@itsmealanaa Tankless water heaters are also a good solution. I just thought I’d ask because of the issues I remembered when I was growing up. I like your suggestion to have some shower the night before.

Ah Thanks. I get carpal Tunnel trying to do my hair fighting with the cord on my curling Iron. Much less the 40 mins it takes to straighten it before recurling it. I have almost C type hair so it's very frizzy n unruly.

Confused why you don’t want to teach any of the older ones to be self sufficient? Picking out own clothes and toothpaste on brunch a three year old can easily do. Five year old can pack their own lunch. It’s beautiful to do for them but more beneficial to teach them to help themselves.
She probably knows that. Adopted kiddos often need alot of nurturing where they missed those steps in younger years. It helps their brain fill in the gaps.

Some people have zero clue what it takes to feed a family let alone a family of your size! We have a $120 Budget for two weeks for our family so I am honestly impressed how you get enough to feed your family for only around 8-1200 ish. You go mom!!!!
