- Big jewelry for the Nokta Double Score on my salty mineralized sand found here on the North Sea in Essex UK. The results are genuine and un biased. It is what it is and that's how I call it. This is a beach hunt with the machine and a test to determine marginally if it can handle my particular beach conditions.

I just bought a Double Score. Can you share your profile settings while in "beach mode"? Like what sensitivity are you using?
I wonder if you can help me clear up a problem me and detecting buddy have with the legend. Were both relatively new to the machine, but we've both been detecting for yrs, . My friend bought his machine second hand just before Christmas but due to bad weather he's only on his second time out on the beach with it,. Iv used mine a out 6 times in all as we both have other multi frequency machines we can use.
The problem we've both found is that with the machine in beach mode on default,( both machines set up the same) in wet beach mode both machines don't give off any feedback whatsoever, it's as though the machine was turned off. We've tried various things besides noise cancelling and gb! Sensitivity, plus different discrimination settings ,but nothing we do seems to make any difference. When we switch over to dry beach it works fine even with the coil submerged so do you know what the deal is when it's in wet beach, we think it might be a software issue. By the way we're both ru ing 1.11 version, any help you can give us would be appreciated tnanks.
Have you tested any targets that you can bury in the sand? I've had the legend in beach mode, default settings for the most part. G.b. 0 and the sens maxed out and it runs dead quiet. I like to have a bit of slight chatter. Have you tried frequency shift? Did you do a noise cancellation? ( setting on the far left) it sounds strange that this is happening to both. I can understand one of them doing it, but both same tine seems odd. Maybe your beach has like very low mineralization so it's running wide open and it's not heating affected. Did you guys find anything? Definitely run some tests to see if your machines are just excelling on the beach and you're just not getting any interference at all, which would be nice. Please let me know what's happening ok? Do some buried item tests on your beaches and see if it picks them up. You can contact me directly. In the description of this vid is my fb group. @@DirtDiggersUK thanks for the reply, we've both tried all the normal startup settings ie noise cancelling, ground balancing, but here's a thing, I had the sensitivity whacked right up to 30 and there wasn't amutter out of it.iv just been onto my detecting buddy and were going to South shields beach next week to conduct some tests on buried targets, il let you know how we get on.
