  • What supplements are good for the skin? After watching this video you will know which supplements are best to maintain healthy, youthful looking skin. Vitamins, anti-oxidants, peptides and free radical scavengers are important key ingredients that you should be incorporating into your diet. These antioxidants and vitamins help with cellular renewal, collagen remodeling, healthy sebaceous activity, epidermal maturation, keratinocyte signalling (how skin cells talk to one another), and keeping the skin free from disease and cancer. This is not an all inclusive list but I discuss the most important key supplements in overall skin health. Watch and learn my beauties. I'm here if you have any questions.

Can you put everything you recommend in your description box? Maybe with a link? Also, do you have a site where we can buy ZO skincare? Do you have a discount code you can provide for your subscribers so we can purchase? All these would be great so we know exactly where to go to buy your recommendations.

I have been watching your recent video and just came across this one and I noticed how much younger you look now compared to this video. It’s like you aged backwards 😊. Is there any else you did to achieve your today’s youthful look beside doing the thermage, laser, healthy lifestyle and good skin supplement? Also what are your thoughts of biocell or stem cells facial injections to preserve youthful skin? It’s so popular in Asia.

I don't think Dr. Kappel wants to get involved with recommendations because we need to do our homework & free's her up. As Dr. said she does not want to get involved in that, but rather educate us. What a wonderful pot of gold we have found.

I have tried Probase Sports Nutrition Collagen Peptides Powder three months ago and it has changed my life. My nails, hair, and skin are healthier and stronger. My nails don't break anymore as they used to and my skin is close to perfect. This brand is less expensive than 99% of other products I have tried and the quality is superior. Dissolves into pretty much everything and it doesn't leave any nasty aftertaste or residue. Highly recommend this one.

Thanks, Probase is a good deal on Amazon. I’ve been using Great Lakes collagen (green label) which is usually a good price as well. It dissolves perfectly in hot or cold drinks with no after taste. Some brands charge way too much for identical products.

I am 50 so mine is due to stress and possibly lack of absorption of vitamins and minerals. Id try the collagen as well as it may help you out. But always go for a plant based collagen.

Looking at the literature, most studies used three times/week dosing for this purpose. And if just taking once a month, would a lipid panel. CBC, and CMP be needed?

Great information Dr Kappel. ❤ Would you please include a list of each supplement you discussed & ideally what your multivitamin should include? (I didn't take notes 🙁) Thank you so much!

What vegan collegan source is best? I struggle finding vegan collegan suppliments.

    • @stephanielivingageless8593

Mademoiselle Marchand I have had great success with The Beauty Chef Collagen Booster. It does not contain collagen peptides because those come only from animals. But it is a vegan product that helps your body build its own collagen. About 2-3 months after I started taking it all of my knee joint pain went away (collagen is excellent for your joints as well as your skin). I’m an avid runner and this has been a HUGE benefit for me. I have been using it for over a year now and have not had any joint issues... this is how I know it is working. Good luck on your journey!

So happy to find your channel...I was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago..my oncologist put me on a boat load of supplements..I eat healthy but I believe the supplements are a key role to our overall health..first question I use retin-a but it seems like the crows feet are getting worse..could I be using too much of it? How many times a week should I be using retin-a? About the vit a so did I understand you to say that shouldn't be taken maybe once a week?
Thank you so much for your awesome information 💟
