Would love to hear more about your dogs impact on your mental health. I really want to get one and have been for a while and know it would boost my mental health BUT also would love to hear more about the “negatives”/reality and cost because I am also very aware there is that too
Yes, owning a dog can be costly, but sometimes it's a worthwhile investment if it can help with your mental health. I would also love an episode about their dogs bc I can tell how much they love them ❤
YES! Joy of pets and mental health podcast would be amazing. We have dogs and goats, and when I’m stressed at work I can just go outside and groom the goats or milk them and my stress just dissipates.

I understand being Team Jere (at this point!) especially from someone in a happy and healthy relationship. Tv shows often teach us that we should root for the angsty love story because they’re “meant to be” but I think IRL the secure and supportive relationship is far better

I can’t wait till the end to comment I’m only 9 mins into this video but fall should definitely not be considered December. I live in a cold area and we can get some heavy snow in December.. Actually there is a difference between the meteorological and astronomical start of a season. The meteorological one is always the first of the month the season changes, and the astronomical one varies somewhat every year since a year is not exactly 365 days. So Taylor is right in the meteorological context, and you are right that this year, 2023, the astronomical autumn starts at the 23rd of September.🍂😌

My life has been traumatic and I have minimal eyesight in one ear and minimal hearing in one ear so I got a doctors note for my apartment who allowed me to get a service dog. An episode would be great as I’m on my second “service animal” that I’ve flown with and I may have some good information to share Luv u both so much ❤

Hiya! Watching the seasons part and thought I'd let you know why the dates are weird like that!
First of all, Boy Tay is partly right: meteorological seasons start on the first of the month, so March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st.
However, astronomical seasons have to do with the spinning of the Earth, so unfortunately there's no agency you can contact to change that haha! If I remember correctly, the September and March dates are the moment the sun stands exactly above the equator. The starting dates of summer and winter are when the sun is at the furthest north and furthest south lines. These lines have special names but I don't know them in English.
