The combination of Malibu rum's smooth coconut notes and the citrusy brightness of the pineapple and orange juices creates a harmonious and refreshing taste.
I made up my own Malibu cocktail on the fly at a friends party and it was so delicious, it barely tasted like alcohol. I mixed malibu, peach syrup and Sprite with crushed ice.
I just made your recipe and it’s delicious!!!!! I used my skinny mixes for my grenadine syrup and it’s still soooo good!! Definitely try this everyone!
Loved malibu rum. Have made this exact same combo but not everyone likes sweet so i add about an ounce of coconut water. Squeeze lime or lemon and does the trick.
Love this drink. I just added it to my must make list. I enjoy another easy sweet cocktail. Love stumbling over these cocktails from years back. Cheers my friend.
Trees blowing in a warm breeze, and the smell of coconut, sound fabulous to me!! This cocktails sounds fabulous, to get in to the spirit of the warm weather, that will be here in the not too distant future!! Thanks David!!
David, this is easy and it's so delicious. I am used to drink Malibu with pineapple juice (very popular in Spain) so the addition of Grenadine makes it more fun. Thanks for the idea. Cheers!
That looks tasty but probably to sweet for me. My all time favorite is Malibu, pineapple juice, shot of cranberry juice and an extra ounce of rum. YUM!!
Coconut, rum and pineapple, a very Scandinavian/Canadian drink if I ever saw one :-D What could possibly go wrong? Nothing! Gotta give this a try one day.
Just a question: Why don't you put the grenadine first , then the ice and at the end mix of coconut liqueur with the pineapple juice? Do i miss something? Ofc, looking amazing though!

Do you think a slice of orange to garnish would be good since its a sun rise and that would look like the sun on top doe i dont know since it doesnt have orange in it but i think it would still look good what do you think?
The only substitute that I could offer would be PARROT BAY Rum!!! It is a bit heavier on the coconut but a clear and very decent rum in and of itself...
That is a good question. You could use your choice of syrup. I.e. Rasp berry r strawberry. That would give you the same loo but a different flavor. A blue curacao would work but the drink might gain a green hue. It is definitely worth testing out to see what happens. if you do please let me know how it turns out for you.
Dave, it is so weird - did you already post another video just like this where I commented about the Malibu Baybreeze? I'm having serious de ja vu but I don't see my comment on here and YT says I hadn't watched it yet. - Theresa
No you can do it either way. If you put in in first, pour you remaining ingredients slowly. if you put it in last, pour it slowly down the side and wait a moment. the grenadine is heavier than the remaining ingredients, it will settle.
Hi Josh you could use those ingredients. I would test it in a small amount first. The Rum No problem, but the Creme do Cacao my not work. but it would be worth trying.
I do it to control how fast it goes into the drink, so it settles at the bottom. However you can pour it in first or just pour it in. Its up to you. I do it for the layer effect.
Many of your presentations are good as well as some cocktail ideas. Thank you.👍 However, fresh products belong in cocktails. Sodium citrate and coloring: E163 and E124 have nothing to do with grenadine. Rose's Grenadine doesn't belong in cocktails, it belongs down the drain. In Canada there should be better products to buy.
Rhum and pinneapple juice is like all ingredients in a poutine: a perfect wedding😅😅😅😅😅
I totally agree:)
Omg I made this recently because it was just what I had in the kitchen, didn’t realize it was an actual cocktail! 😆

... another chance to use that cherry juice ... yes ? ... or not sweet enough ? ...
I could have used the juice, but then I would have had none for the cherries. It would however have changed the flavor in an interesting way.
I was thinking the garnish should bear slice of pineapple and a cherry!
That would be a really good idea.

I can't use spiced rum right?
