Just got back into pokemon recently, finished the first celebration set and found 2 gold mews, need a zard and a few others to complete the reprint set too, loved it
When I pulled Zekrom the light hit it in a way that made me flinch and I couldn't tell what it was. At some angles, it's hard to make out who's on the card. While the glitter is a bit excessive, it's grown on me and I actually kinda like it.
I pulled that card on my first celebrations box and the same thing happened to me

Can't imagine how hard it must be talk for 24 minutes and still keep the whole video interesting to watch and listen to. My favorite Celebration cards are definitely the LvL X and EX reprints, especially Garchomp.

I had a base set 2 blastoise. Was my favorite card. My entire childhood collection is long gone. I had almost the full set with tons of doubles and triples
I am always a fan of orginal and for the new people into collecting it is nice to have a peek at what cards looked like when it began.
I’ve only opened 14 packs total of celebrations. The ETB making my last 8. I pulled a Holo Charizard and a shining Mew! I was shook and so happy!
The original prints will always be my special because they take me back to my first experiences with Pokémon. The reprints though are very cool and really make the card pop. So I guess they both have things I like so I won’t pick a favorite just like I don’t pick my favorite kid ;-)
That Garchomp LV X comparison was the wrong card. You have the tin Promo, but the Celebrations one is based on the Platinum Supreme Victors. Both the Supreme victors and tin promo have the same moveset, but different artwork.
My favorite celebrations card has to be shinning magicarp. It’s nice seeing the new shinies with Shinning Legends but there’s something nostalgic about the original shiny art for magicarp

Honestly, the full art classic Pikachu is one of my favorites. Good memories of the first packs I opened back in the late 90s. Ironically (at the time) I opened 2 packs and got a Blastoise and Charizard (not knowing the value of them at the time). Wish I would've taken better care of them back then (they were Shadowless too)

Had both my son and daughter open up a Celebrations ETB and the pulls were amazing, but this ETB was very special because besides all the good pulls my daughter pulled two Charizards. We were so shocked, we couldn’t believe we had pulled two Charizards out of the same ETB. Has anyone else experienced this?

I didnt get 2 charizards, but i pulled 2 blastoises from mine. My box had great pulls and i easily made my money back

My favorite celebrations card has to be the base set Pikachu with the added background art. I get why they didn't do it for Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur but it would've been cool to see a full background for them too.
Wow that Mew is definitely a must have! I have still to pull it 🙄 I may just buy it raw I feel it’s very underrated & will increase dramatically in value in the coming years.

Pulled a Rainbow Chonkachu from my Celebrations ETB yesterday. Didn’t know how to react initially because I was so shocked. Hopefully you can pull yours soon Leon.

Just pulled a Golden Mew. Also pulled Mewtwo EX, Dark Gyarados, Rocket’s Zapdos, Donphan, & Professor’s Research Full Art and I Only opened 8 celebrations packs so far!

I remember bringing my pokemon cards to class in the 90's. Wow, can't believe they released this set.
My favorite celebrations card has to be the full art of the original Pikachu card. I know it's one of the most common pulls, but that card holds so much meaning to me. Opening these packs has been pure joy for me and it made me feel like a kid again!
If there’s one Celebrations card that I like, it’s definitely the Blastoise holographic card!

Both Charizards are beautiful but I think I like the new reprints more, I love the texture and I actually like the sparkling holo.
I have pulled about three rockets zapdos and i am in love with the card art, i think it is amazing how they brought back some of he older cards that are playable. Some people like me never thought I would be able to get my hands on any of these older cards, and now im holding a bunch!
UGH considering how many celebrations packs you’ve opened in total, it makes me discouraged on completing a whole set 😩

Love the Original Charizard. The base set Art holo shine is more soothing to see than the glitter foil of the the 25th anniversary reprint.

They really turned the glitter up on the celebrations set, they still look great imo, my favourite would have to be the Blastoise though, with that ripple effect they put around it.
The shining magikarp is my favorite card of the whole set bring back so many good memories!

My favorite Celebrations cards are tied between Birthday Pikachu and Flying Pikachu V because those cards are very nostalgic to me and I love the way the reprints look so much, they're very cute!
My favourite card is definitely the Reshiram. Its just super cool and my fav fire pokemon. I also think the Tapu lele gx is super cool because of the texture of the card.
The fact that some people are about to finish the master set of celebrations and others like me don’t even found product the day of release on stores is really heartbreaking... btw I’m from Mexico City and love your content!
I think I prefer the original print when it comes to the star pattern holo because it's so Nostalgic :) however I do like that they added texture to the reprints. It was a nice touch 😊

My favourite celebrations card is here comes team rocket trainer. I do prefer the original cards for their holo pattern vs the glitter patterns. But i LOVE how the celebrations have the textured background on them.

My favorites are the gold star Umbreon, shiny Mew and the Venusaur. Venusaur was the first and only base set Holo I pulled and a kid! 💚💚💚💚
I love the texture of the cards of the reprints but the sparkles are better in the originals.

Literally opened my first Pokemon set in 21 years today, it was two Celebrations Deluxe Pin sets, my friend had the same so we opened it together and had a blast! I felt like a kid again, just talking Pokemon and comparing the pulls! I'd love a Venusaur just for the nostalgia factor!
I love the umbreon that I pulled. It was centered, no scratches, psa 10 quality, and I let my frien touch it for a
SECOND, and he gave it a scratch on the top left
I’m not a huge fan of the sparkle foil but maybe because I know it’s a newer/current style of holo. I’m sure some day it will have a nostalgic feel

I was very lucky to complete my set right around 175-200 packs. 2 charizards. 4 umbreons. 2 mews. And still only 1 copy of cards like xerneas and shining magikarp. Set has some wacky pull rates. Love the celebrations openings!
