I really want to know what the shape of the blank punch was. I imagine it was similar to the half-donut shape used on the bonny doon kit. Also is that just soapy water? I would suspect blanking oil would be necessary for faster drawing.

You can see in the second stamping that it was placed off center with the die as shown by the irregular draw. How about sppeding up that press.
maybe it was for demonstration purpose so done very abruptly, but yes these process have to be automated to reduce idle time. Maybe after 8 years they have automated it

Idle time is very high. It should be in rapid. Although the draw is very good.
