every snare drum review sounds the same on your channel please fix that
Are these cast brass or rolled?
Rolled
A big powerful snare like that and you're hitting it like a weakling. Lol
note: DW bell brass snares are brass, not bell brass
???
Bell brass is bronze actially. This one is just brass.
Typically, "Bell Brass" is bronze (thanks for the confusion, Tama), but DW make both "Bell Brass" and "Bell Bronze" snares.
Seems to be a lot of confusion on the differences in bronze and brass. 2 different metals. Yes they're both made from combinations of metals. Like cymbals, they are bronze, but they're usually 80% copper and 20% tin for the B20 (higher quality) cymbals. If you had a brass cymbal it would be useless. Would probably break very very quickly.
@@acarlovonsexron1994 Technically that would be cast bronze ie "bell brass" thanks to Tama....or cast brass.
mic too close ...
Definately! Needs a condenser on the snares too
tuning and mic placement is horrendous, like on most of your vids. This is a terrible epidemic among us drummers I cant support it
I don't think that sounds good at all. It's tubby and not very clean or snappy. Not what I'm looking for.
This is not bell brass
