You nailed Roberts' areas of needs improvement. I'd also like to see the Dodgers instill a more disciplined approach at the plate- extending the pitch count, moving the runner over, hitting sacrifice flies, like they did early last night. i've seen them strike out on 3 or 4 pitches many times with a man on third. Maybe a more fundamental oriented bench coach would help?
I agree. Smith and Muncy are huge game changers if they get going. 🤞
Buehler is out of this rotation and I don't think he is going to get a multi year contract.
That was my initial reaction, but, then you have to consider who else is available. Flaherty for sure, then who? Stone is out for the year.
Of course, if Yamamoto and Glasnow get healthy that solves a lot of these issues, but, as of today, those 2 situations are still "ifs"
So, that leaves a ton of grey area, and my biggest point with the club is I hope they go with the "right" guy, and not "their" guy. For the Dodgers to pull the plug on Buehler would be out of brand.
Casey, they have to take Buehler out of rotation, I watched game and after the cubs took a 3 run lead you could see the air go out of the dodger players

Good show today. With regard to Nicolas Cruz, do you think the reason for by passing Rancho is just that he needed more innings this year and the season is winding down at low A or do you think he's likely to just jump to GL to open 2025?
I think Buehler is going to get at least another turn through the rotation, it's shocking that if the Dodger were in the playoffs today, that the rotation would probably be Flaherty, Knack, Buehler. So much hinges on the Yamamoto start tonight and we need to see signs that he can be ready to go in 3 weeks.
Rancho and Great Lakes both ended at the same time, which was last Sunday, so it had to do with the Loons needing arms more than Rancho. I've got a message out to Dave Anderson, so hope he responds filling in all those dots.
Yeah, that's kind of why, when I started going "tough guy" on the Buehler situation I kind of paused and Coach and I were both like, well, who the hell else?
