I’m auditioning for Lumiere in the summer for my Drama Camp and I really want this part because my bff is going for Cogsworth and our drama teacher is a teacher at my bff’s school and she told the teacher that I’m going for Lumiere and she is going for Cogsworth because they’re best friends and instead of having two regular people do it, us two besties could do it so we wouldn’t have to fake the friendship, (and we would be in scenes together)
I'm the only one who found frustrating the fact that there was a whole and expectacular and colorish number played by objects... yet Emma (Belle) couldn't show any emotion besides "Oh, I'm gonna smiles like... i'm always smiling, I guess"? Other than that, I loved that scene.
The focus is on the objects not on her, the directors also said that she meeds to smile more simpler so that it makes this surprised creeped out vibe (singing objects eh? who would have thought) Also she is the only human in behind the scenes there are cameras floating and thats it, shes smiling there all alone for roughly 7 minutes of take with out absolutely anything but a long table and cameras.
