The Egypt videos were beautiful and so relaxing to watch. Thank you so much for sharing. Please stay safe out there amid this terrifying Corona pandemic.
You're welcome Kevin! It's great to hear that you enjoyed them. We're in India now and luckily it seems the Corona virus hasn't spread yet here. We're still waiting a bit to choose our next destination as it seems to change very quickly.
His guys .... welcome to Egypt and thank you for your videos. It has been three years without visiting home and your videos were a very beautiful reminder why I love it and why I miss it. Also as an Egyptian, I can understand and relate to your tips for the tourists visiting Egypt. They are true and can be very helpful to tourists especially with the bazars and the souvenirs, even for Egyptians you need to know the prices or you can end up paying double. When I want to buy some souvenirs to my friends in Canada, I always take a friend of mine who knows well the prices. Note: you missed a lot by not visiting the red sea, hurghada and safaga are amazing, and you also missed the sites in the western dessert and the beaches on the Mediterranean (Matrouh and Sidi Abdelrahman).
Yes we were planning to visit the Red Sea, but the days we wanted to go it was pretty bad weather, so we ended up going back to Cairo instead. Thanks for watching.
Great tips. Usefull for a lot of cultures. Always always have you own toilet paper is the best advice. Enjoyed Egypt. Looking forward to the next adventure. Safe travels.
Thank you for visiting Egypt. Thank you for your love of Egypt and thank you for your beautiful words on Egypt. We hope to return again to Egypt. I love you . Your follower from Egypt
Hi guys, always great to hear from you! Well, you tried and I know you are always respectful and nice to the other countires cultures, but specifically because it was coming from you, the nicest and the most appreciative travel blogers, I am sort of put off going to Egypt for my travel. Even the Pyramids would not justify all the fuss you described, it seems. Good luck and look forward to your new videos.
Hi Natalia. Sorry to hear you were put off going there but we understand where you're coming from. Just wanted to let you know that it is a beautiful country and we of course tried to travel it independently which amplifies these challenges. We would recommend going, but if you're not comfortable dealing with the challenges there are still so many other beautiful places in the world 🌍❤️ thank you for your kind words btw 🤗☺️
Hey guys, it seems that I became a big fan of your videos, koodos to your honest advices ; however , I just wanted to remind you of something that you might have missed : Egypt you talked about and gave great tips of was almost ( 3 cities , Cairo, luxir , and Aswan) ... and here is what you missed ( the oasis of Siwa, Alexandria , Rosetta , the Red sea , and Sharm el Sheik/ mount Sinai ) ... most of your tips would work ; however, in some other places it would be a total different game ball. Thank you and good luck
Yes you're right. We were planning to visit Hurghada and Alexandria. But Kim became quite sick on the cruise to Luxor, so we lost 4-5 days, which we were planning to stay in Hurghada. Last few days it was raining in Alexandria, so we decided to go to Cairo instead. Had some bad luck haha. Next time we will do those things when we get the chance. Insh'alla ;)
Hi naick and kim I'm really sorry for hearing that from you, i know those things would bothering you a little bit. As an Egyptian i knew all these stuff, that's why i recommend to look for somebody who's a native and you can trust and lean on him during a visit not to rush into a city without a local guidance. Although you met a lot of people who were trying to exploit the tourist with such a bad altitude, there're alot of guys you can trust. I wish i could be there during your trip to give you a better experience in my country ;) Welcome to Egypt anytime mates hope to see you once again.
Hi Abdallah. That is very kind of you. It did not bother us too much. We were prepared to have a few challenges along the way 😉 and that's why we think it's good for people to know these things before going, so they know what to expect. We had a very, very good time in Egypt and met lots of friendly, well meaning Egyptian people 🤗🙏🏻
ok, Naik & Kim, I agree on all hick-ups that you faced in my country. but remember you two that the tourist season in Egypt is very short indeed ( maybe 3 or 4 months/year ) these people have to make enough income for the rest of the year.. of course, you are responsible for this, but just to let you know some of the reasons of why some behave that silly. In fact, I saw you to be very smart indeed and won some of the bargains in Egypt and haggled very well.
Just watched all your videos really its amazing I hoped u did this when your channel bigger, but not problem I think u again later as there is more cities to go Alexandria hurgada sharm el sheikh and mohamed ali mosque in Cairo must visit Waiting u next time
Forgot to add, the food in Egypt is excellent and fantastic value for money. Without a doubt a tourist's paradise, Egypt has lots to offer for tourists.
We film in a 'flat' profile (low contrast, low saturation, low sharpness) and add in contrast, saturation and sharpness afterwards in Premiere Pro. It looks better than when the camera adds it in. Otherwise we don't do much color grading.
Good tips, many of them hold good in many other developing countries including India. I had also visited Egypt towards the end of 2019, i found tons of buildings in Cairo and Alexandria exposed by bricks without the cement plastering or paint, wonder you know why they do it? My guide told me that if you finish the building in full the taxes are higher compared to such unfinished building?? Sounds logical but do not know if its true.
Not sure why they do it. I think it also has to do with the turmoil and civil unrest they have had in the past 6-7 years. Probably a lot of projects were abandoned at that time.
Thank you for your tips!I really brought with me roll of tissue paper and wipes with me when I went last January.lol...I will be going back again this coming October and I will definitely bring tissue paper again.
@@dorsay703 I live in Canada and when I went to Egypt I didn't need a converter.I just needed the one for the plug because they have a round one and mine is flat. You can just buy from Egypt for the plug coz it's cheap.Israel has the same outlet if you ever visit Israel.

Good tips for Cairo. Good to know approximate prices before buying. Even me as an Egyptian, I many times end up paying much, which is ok (if I know I am helping poorer people). Many people suffer economically so you just have to be street smart and use your common sense. It is more difficult for women travellers, so be careful and dont be too friendly if you want to avoid some nuisances.
some time you will buy more of these prices because the rent very high in some area (Ahmed Moustafa Tour Guide )i invite all people to visit Egypt thanks &best regards
We felt safe. There had been only one or even zero cases in Egypt at that point. Hardly anyone wearing face masks (but those don't help anyway), we just washed hands more often etc
