Always enjoy your videos. Spring is March 19th this year. Due to Easter being early. On your orange fabric you could wash is to tone it down. Throw it in your washer by itself add a color catcher if you have one the hang it up to dry it. It way take two washing to get it where you want it. Enjoy your time away and the visitors.

I know I say the same thing every time, but it's true 😊 Since I started watching your first episode my cross stitch patterns wish list became much longer, (not blaming you but....😛), plus I've already bought a couple of the designs. One of them is the "In the library" pattern which I fell in love with instantly when you showed it to us. I fell in love with the pattern, with the flosses, the fabric and, as I've mentioned more than once before, I even fell in love with the project bag you keep this in🥰 So I bought the pattern back then when I first saw it and, looking how amazing yours looks, I can't wait to start it. Unfortunately I can't, well I could but it would be a tiny bit pricey, get the original flosses but I do love the substitution flosses they suggest so no complains here. One last comment, I love the colours you use for the pinks Sparrow sampler it looks so Springy (if I can use this word like that). I wish you'll have fun with all you've planed to do and looking forward to seeing you again 🥰🧵🪡

Yes a Teresa Wentzler is an impressive stitch - definitely NOT a travel piece!!🤣😂 Go look at the floss tube Fibers and Floss Canada - she has an entire episode explaining how to organise a Wentzler project - the floss that is since there is a lot of blending. I would say that is the first step in doing a Wentzler design.
What a treat to wake up to a new video from you this morning! You kept saying that you didn’t get much done but I think you got so much progress since we saw you last. The Greenhouse is my favourite from that series so far…I think there are so many gorgeous house patterns out there and I appreciate that the greenhouse is so different. No worries about hopping around project to project! I do that too some days. I’m so glad February is over…ours was not as dark as yours seemed but also not what we had hoped for. I’m loving the signs of spring here in Northern California.

I was wondering if you have had Covid? I told my doctor about not being able to focus, having trouble finding what word I want to say, etc. She said a large number of people have the same symptoms, even her. She said it's called post Covid. It's not much fun, but at least there's a reason for it. I truly enjoyed your channel I'm excited about the next video. Happy stitching! ❤❤😊😊
Beautiful stitching as always. If you are possibly thinking needlepoint then have you looked at designs by Elizabeth Bradley. The kits are wool but stitched in cross stitch. Alternatively the designs can be stitched in floss. One of her books has the seasons samplers sewn in floss. Just saying.
Look at your hand right before the emoji pops up, your thumb is up so it thinks you are giving a thumbs up sign, so it makes one on the screen. I think it is fun, lol!
Thanks for sharing your stitching. Regarding the very bright orange fabric, could you overdye or tea dye it to tone down the color? Maybe take a small piece and experiment?
It is always fun to have a Laura video. When you talked about the feelings on planes I was right there with you and then different. Whether on a plane or in a theatre or concert, I have to sit on the aisle seat to not feel penned in. I have some health weirdness and must dash sometimes to a washroom so I also don’t like climbing over sleeping strangers. So many lovely projects! I just joined the Be Stitch Me monthly club and that neon orange was my first Be Stitch Me fabric…it is so not my color! I have no idea what I will stitch on it! I’m not really a Halloween stitcher…maybe a Mira? I may over dye it…if you have any ideas…let me know. I’m kind of bummed that I spent money on that! I just love all your projects!

I absolutely love In the Library but it’s so much bigger than what I normally stitch but it’s calling to me so hard.
