Yeah, I am showing my age here but it is great to hear these sounds are still around and seem to be making a comeback, this year more than most. Maybe some of the kids are realising that proper musical instruments make great music. Yet, I'm afraid that most triple j listeners are into all that banal hip hop. This music used to be in the hottest 100 but now struggles to make it in the top 200! Unfortunately, over the last decade and a half, Australia has been influenced by so much American culture and is fast becoming a little America. We will lose our Aussie identity if this keeps up, Lee!
