i think David is a bit obstinate, unwilling to do better plating, making judges unable to add pts for him, which I respect because that is his style. His style just doesn’t match the requirements of the contest. However, Nicholas’ plating looks extremely professional in comparison to David’s. As an audience, I can’t judge the taste of their dishes, so I’m just watching the competition. I think Nicholas has skills too, but may not be the top, since cooking isn’t his profession, but I assumed that he won because he managed to get pts from all aspects of the requirements. Just because he is a star doesn’t always mean there is bias. If you think it’s unfair from the very beginning, there’s no point in watching, ironically wasting your time when “you know” he will win anyway.
