i personally love natural/normal background noise in asmr vids. it feels more realistic and intimate like we’re hanging out and less like a highly produced thing.
Yes I agree! At first I liked the trend of ASMRtists becoming more professional and creating completely silent filming environments, but overtime I really missed feeling like I was actually hearing a real environment. Sometimes silence feels sterile, and background noise feels comforting.

I’ve seen some other UA-camrs hide the part of their camera/phone (not sure what it’s called) where they can see themselves so that they don’t struggle maintaining eye contact with the camera. Unless you like the non eye contact because I know some people get uncomfortable with it while watching

It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited to find a new ASMR channel!
