I've been watching GOLD RUSH since season 1. Parker is better gold miner then Todd will ever be.

I love the woods but these guys are on their own property. It isn't National Park. A big operation is 150 acres. About the same size as a shopping center and its parking lot. You don't look at a high school and say there's an ecological disaster.

Oh quit the whining about the new Colorado claim. "It sucks, it's to cold, it's at 10,000+ feet up in the mountains. " Well guess what. I happen to live in the mountains of Colorado at over 10,000 feet outside of Denver. And I have for they entire 30+ years I've been alive. That's totally weak if you can't make it up here. There are very few gold claims around here and it is not that bad at all. The weather is a little hinky all the time and feels like it's a month faster than everywhere else or maybe it a month behind. But it ALWAYS has a steady pattern. Tell Hoffman he can hire me as his meteorologist since I already live pretty much right where he's thinking of settling and like I said I'm a 30 year native. I'll help em out. One thing they will have problems with is getting you machines up here to work. Very small, tight, twisting roads but it they did get here I'm convinced there is tons of gold still here in the mountains of Colorado. I think old 1800's miners kinda passed it up a little hastily. Yes they did set up here but so so many people quit mining here for the promise lands of places like the Klondike and California and what not that they jumped ship early and left a huge amount of untapped gold here. But I can see the mining being easier in those places back then. I mean we aren't called the ROCKY MOUNTAINS for nothing. Those little boulders that clog up your wash plants are an everyday day occurrence up here even in top soil. So best of luck to you buttercups if you try it here. Freddy is right tho.

My friend was on a "fishing show" on discovery and they got paid to stage fights. The more real they made it the more cash they got.
This is true and made me quit watching discovery shows... they are all so fake and scripted.
