I just brought this laptop. I had Macbook air before. The laptop is lighter comparatively. Battery life is around 6.5 Hours Speakers are REALLY Trash. Screen is Excellent. Performance is Above average. It has WIFI 6e which makes possible gbps speeds. Track pad is flimsy click sound is not good. Windows is getting better. Could complete with MAC in future in terms of user friendliness.
Even I went to store and checked this laptop. Speakers are complete trash(never gonna use those anyways). But other than that display is on another level. Even its webcam is of 1440p
I bought the i5 version of this latop 2 weeks ago with same specs. I had a mac book air m1. To be honest I do not miss my macbook air at all. the main reason is that screen. the macbook's screen feels trashy after watching content on acer swift 14. the other thing is that I ran all the benchmarks I could and It defeated my macbook air in every aspect except gpu performace where the air won but just with a tiny margin. the only con that i faced is the speakers. they are not good. but I use my pixel buds with it they connect seemlessly. I can recommend this laptop.
One important thing you didn't mention is, the laptop has the secondary M.2 slot for another SSD. A feature not present in most similar laptops and was a dealbreaker for me.
I am a musician. And I'm looking for a powerful laptop for a music program. It doesn't matter to me what kind of video card it is, but the processor itself, ddr and everything else is very important. How will it work with ableton. ??
Go with the version of this notebook that offers the ryzen 7-7840u cpu which has the intergrated 780m GPU and it's more than enough and better than Intel Iris XE
I work in Cubase and it's amazing. It has i7 13700H CPU which means you have 6 performance cores with 12 threads (the greatest number amongst all gen 13 mobile i7's). The boost over my former i7 1165G7 is huge. You can go with the lowest latency possible (buffer set to 64 in my case) with the pretty large number of plugins. Sure, while mixing and using aabout 5 plugins per track, you'll have to increase the buffer size accordingly. Remember, it's still a mobile CPU.
Thanks! Do you know how many memory slots are available? I'm planning to buy the Core i5/8GB one but I'd like to upgrade to 16GB. I can't find the info about RAM slots on Acer's web site.
Hi bro.. I bought this laptop yesterday. While operating the touchpad I'm sensing that the touchpad is noisy and giving tik tik sounds while operating it. Is this defective or is this as per design itself it has been implemented like that?
playing valorant with it causes cpu temperature to go up to >95 C....not sure is it bad or not. and the heat keep blowing to the screen on the upper right side of the keyboard
@@sathya9195 In fact, this is what I'm worried about. The fan grill points toward the lower part of the screen. I only hope it won't have any negative effect on it.
To begin with, this is not a gaming laptop. Yes, the heating issue is there, and I don't know how to control it. Sometimes, I feel like returning the product, but returning won't help because they will only replace the product, which is not what I want. But still, for 55k INR, it's a good deal. I'm only worried about screen burn-in; the rest is fine.
It heats up pretty much while playing games or using it extensively. The chassis almost burns :-D Also, the fan noise is noticeable, but remember, there are 6 performance cores + GPU that need to be cooled down :-D Watching videos or doing some office work is completely silent.
Of course you're impressed.. Acer is sponsoring the video
It's so fake review. Wonder how much he was bribed for
It's a good value for money laptop. I've compared hp asus Dell etc. Overall fit and specs of acer is better at same price segment.

Hey, is there an active stylus that works for swift go 14? I’m keen to have a more pen style experience with this machine
No, the screen isn't touch sensitive unfortunately. 😞
Does this have a touchscreen, and I’ve seen some reviews where the trackpad has volume control and other stuff…..but some reviews don’t mention it
Pls provide link for india which have same model that u explain...i didnt find

Pretty much same, go 16 has 120 hz display and 3.2k resolution

very bad
is oled for this new swift 14 but it doesnt mention official website for oled it mention IPS

The screen is so reflective it shows through this video though.
It’s similar with all current OLED laptops.
it's oled & it's a good thing.
I’m wondering about battery performance
Relatively great! Easily 9 hours or more.
