Well, it seems his childhood was fairly comfortable and privileged, he went to some fairly expensive private schools and his parents are both actors. I remember his first major role was in that "Alex Rider" film which never became a franchise - I suspect he got the role at least a bit on family connections, and the attempt to turn him into a teen heart throb in the 2000s was a series of flops (I am number 4, Beastly, Endless love) - so I suspect he assumed success would come easily and it turned out his talent was't necessarily as good as he thought. I wouldn't waste too much of your sympathy on him - this short really only gives a brief glimpse of his unpleasentness. Frankly I'm surpriused he has been getting any roles at all, between his fairly uninspiring box office record and the reputation he has actively created through his own actions.
@Wynn there's no proof that there's abuse although if he was angry at her and lashed out but didn't touch her maybe there was evidence that supported his anger. I'm saying if he was angry he had every right to be if she was seeing him behind his back.
@Wynn everyone's a little narcissistic at some level. Seeking constant validation through social media is narcissistic all on its own. To call it a personality disorder I kind of find baffling. It's Hollywood everyone's a little narcissistic. Not that I'm siding with whatever abuse he may or may not have done, but it's a pot calling kettle black kind of situation.

I don't condone abuse, but then again it is not proven that he did. All I'm saying is his accusations may not have been so left field as everyone made it out to be.
