3:38 her left fist is clenched throughout the falling shots. she is right handed, the triforce usually appears on her right hand (it did in botw). it's way more likely that she is holding the golden tear, and that IT is what saves her from the fall. also remember whenever zelda would transport link places in botw? like when you are done battling a blight ganon, or after calamity ganon goes to hyrule field and transforms into dark beast ganon. if you look, the way he is transported looks extremely similar to the recall and golden abilities we see in totk- and to zelda when she falls. a golden sparkling light- that can physically transport someone somewhere. (we know zelda herself could do this in botw anyways, so who's to say she couldn't do the same here? especially if she was also using a recall tear.)
I’m wondering if each tear grants link a new ability. Since the “recall” symbol is the exact same as on the tear zelda holds. Maybe Sidon’s tear grants underwater movement, Tulin’s unlocks the anti-gravity ability or something similar to Revali’s gale. Riju’s tear grants lightning control like Urboasas. Just a theory
Looking up the magatamas(Japanese teardrop stones) in Google, people have concluded two symbols meanings. The yellow one that Zelda holds has the same symbol as on the TOTK switch and the recall ability. That symbol is very similar to the Japanese kanji for "time". The green one that Tulin holds has the same symbol as one of the pins, and a possible future ability. The symbol on it is very similar to the Japanese kanji for "wind". After seeing the symbol on Sidon's magatama, I looked up kanji for water related things until I found one that matched. That symbol seems to be based off the kanji meaning "inundate", "overflow", and "flood". The kanji for "flood" on its own does not match.
I have the feeling that all the tribes in the present are not in Hyrule anymore. Ritos are in the flying ships, the zoras are living on top of the islands (Sidons fight, water flowing at the background etc.) Death mountain is covered with malice. Holes in the gerudo dessert? What do you think? Also i believe that hylia/zelda, the zonai and big guy( rauru?) and demise/ganondorf are related to each other in the past and present.
I feel like the set up is that every tribe has to deal with weird stuff happening to them again and the main goal is to help them again. But they definitely seem to have switched things up.
I think that the magotamas (tears) come in sets of two, which is why only half of the recal symbol is shown, and that is how link has all the abilities
@@SuperSavajin I thought like they connected together like yin and yang because the shapes are similar, so they can connect to make full circles (like the symbols for them)
Seems that the Zonai hid the 4 tears that new champions use in 4 dungeons. Gannon was using the red one to power his initial attack. Zelda's ancestor and the owner of the hand each used the last 2 tears to try to defeat Gannon. Zelda's ancestor falls in the final battle and the hand owner uses the last of his strength to seal Gannon. When Zelda and Link discover sealed Gannon, Zelda finds the recall tear that later takes her to the past. Released Gannon then uses the red tear to revive and rehydrate. The last tear is still a bit of a mystery because it doesn't seem to be on the hand anymore.
My current headcannon: The 7 tears and their weilders are equivalent to the sages and their medallions in Ocarina of time. Mr Goat Zonai dude and the alternate Zelda/Hylia lady are from the past. The ghostly hand holding mummy Ganondorf down is something Mr Zonai Goat left behind and gets passed down to Link. Zelda gets stuck in the past snd her cutscenes are triggered during the gameplay because Zonai goat dude is Link’s companion in this game and retells what happened in the past. Zelda undergoes a transformation that basically makes her become Hylia. Ganondorf acheives his final form and calls himself Demise. All of this is secretly a prequel to Skyward Sword. The circle is complete.
With the use of the leitmotif in the boss fights in TP when link is winning, the TP main theme may act sort of like "Link's Theme," going sour when he misses the Zelda catch.
hold on, watching this just gave me a theory. the recall ability symbol is on zeldas tear and at the end of the trailer zelda tells link that he must find her. furthermore, remember that glow link but the sword in? what if that is a time travelling "vortex" and link putting the sword in reverses the effects of ganondorf? comment below your thoughts
i can confirm that the gerudo dungeon is not the arbiter's grounds if you look in the aerial view you can see a shrine with 5 archways which seem to be the arbiter's grounds the shrine actually replaces a korok seed if this is true that puts the dungeon northwest of the arbiter's grounds somewhere near dragon's exile, which hints that this may be the place that this supposed dragon was exiled
Has anyone compared the highest areas of Faron between the scene where Zelda is asking Link to find her compared to any of the gameplay or trailer clips once the sky islands are present? It would provide clues for the timeline maybe.
Seems like we get the three corresponding tears to Zelda(recall), Ganon (ascend) and Link (fuse/possibly ultrahand) at the beginning, with ultra hand seeming like a separate zonai goat man thing. Then the other tears through the champions later, maybe 🤔
The Legend of Link: A Zelda to the Past. 1. Boo. No memories pls. 2. You showed the promotional images showing the goat/dragon(?) Zonai guy alongside what I think is an ancient version of Zelda. But on the left of it is what I thought was dehydrated Ganondorf standing beside the wild looking red haired Ganondorf/Demise(?). 3. At around 3 minutes and 30 seconds into the trailer it shows the mural with Ganondorf looking huge. There's a non-monster standing at his feet worshipping him. Am I wrong here? I couldn't figure why nobody seemed to care about that.
I'm pretty sure the promotional flyer just shows dehydrated Ganondorf only. The quality doesn't really help for closer inspection tho. But I will definitely have to look into the ganon mural again. You are right that it could hide hints.
In germany he says: "When we fail, Link will win."
But in a positive way

Ganondorf is a super daddy this time. Can wait to kis... I MEAN TO SLAY HIM!
You sound just like the terminator and it's awesome
This is the second comment that I got that I sound like the Arnold Schwarzenegger. I can't believe this lmao
I think in the trailer, the hand grabbing the sword is actually shown in reverse to throw us off. It’s Link at the end returning the mastersword.
Ooooo, you’re the first person to say that (that I’ve seen anyway.) and I think that’s another good idea!!!
But this cannot be the case because links right hand is a zonai hand
It must be in the beginning somehow
Great idea but the animation backwards doesn't makes much sense either i think. The way link grabs the sword looks like he is about to pull it
