God is calling his ppl. This is so inspiring. I am so thankful that the Lord has given me strength, to keep going, even though I want to give up. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Groceries are super expensive. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide! With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Faith over fear.

That's because faith without works is dead.

    • @colonelrubix
      @colonelrubix 2 роки тому +1

@@rhwinner and that is absolutely not what James was talking about! I'm so glad the Catholic Church is willing, but without Love, works is dead. And that is not to say they don't have Love, But simply a truth that needs to be remembered diligently. And without a saving faith, works are useless. with a saving faith, works come pouring out naturally from the heart. This is what James mean:
"When you have not every done any works at all, can that faith save you?" this is a question about the genuineness of someones faith when it shows no signs of repentance, sanctification, or works. though if someone repents and has faith, he is saved. sometimes a part of Repentance means doing ministry work, or mission trips. when I first got saved, my heart longed to serve the lord, like a servant in debt who had been forgiven much.
But say I put my faith in christ through just the catholic church, and do works in order to show my faithfulness to The Church, in order I might be saved through Works... see this is the danger in the Catholicism. We must remember that No specific way of worship, or works is required for salvation, but to truly Have Faith that leads constantly towards repentance. to say that we needs works to be saved, is to say that what Jesus did was not enough. Do not nullify the grace of God!
Much of the Catholic Church is centered around sacraments and Keeping Christian "Sabbaths" and doing works.
but you see that religion was made for man, not man for religion. Your works must come from your heart, and are not required for salvation, but simply show the genuineness of faith that brings true salvation.

I became very emotional while listening to him talk about his reuniin with his mother, in the full interview with Bishop Barron. Motherhood is not an easy role. One has to be there with full love and support in both good and bad times, and when a child becomes a teen and/ or turns into a young man, if he makes bad choices in life, his choices cause deep pain and suffering. However, regardless of how deep the pain is, one must always learn to forgive fully and wholeheartedly, always with hope and prayer that God, the Holy Angels and Saints and Our Lady will intercede and assist us all in pushing away all of the enemies schemes and helping us to bring forth goodness and love of God. In doing so we Glorify God! Bitterness and Anger push us away from God but love leads to joy and allows us to be united with God. I'm so happy for Shia! I pray he remains strong and that God continues to intercede through St Pio. Shias discipleship can touch the hearts of many who are lost. May God's peace be with you brother Shia!

Rejecting a multi year counsel by prelates and Popes all raised during the “ good ole times”, is acting like past separatist.

Steven Spielberg never should have cut off Shia LaBeouf like he did. Spielberg loved Shia. Was a father figure. Two years after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released, Shia made a comment in an interview that he, Shia, basically had a hard time playing Mutt Williams, making the role believable. It was a very small, artistic comment. No malice. Well, Spielberg demands 100% loyalty. He took this comment as an attack. So he cut Shia off completely. Kicked him to the curb. So another father figure in Shia's life turned on him. After that is when Shia began to spiral down.
Harrison Ford also publicly trashed talk Shia by saying that he would never earn his fedora and he was an idiot for publicly admitting that he mishandled playing Mutt. Also, Paramount Pictures also only offered Shia LaBeouf $15 million to star in Transformers 4: Age of Extinction after Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon made $1 billion worldwide. I wish Shia went on to star as Owen Grady in the Jurassic World trilogy.

I wish Bishop Barron would have really listened to what Shia was saying here. To me, Shia's path is the only way to get back engaged with any religious institution but Bishop Barron didn't hear what shia was saying and because of that I think the church keeps getting in their own way.
Shia just said that connection and feeling is what he was lacking. These are the things that the Sam Harris' of the world cannot provide. But Bishop Barron jumps in and says, catholic church has everything. If you want logic, we have Thomas Aquinas! Give me a break. YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!
All of us young men have fallen from the faith. You cannot get us back with reason and logic. You've lost that battle long ago. We don't trust you.
However, we are lost. Confused. Depressed. Nihilistic. If you give us connection, we will give you our lives.
Stop selling us your ideology, your theology. Let us sit in reverance and feel god to know that we are not alone and we will come back again and again. And it won't be reason and logic that brings us back.
It'll be connection, hope and love.

Thank you for failing to give us a firm foundation in this world and leaving us at the mercy of the culture. Where in the Bible does God or Jesus state that we have to go to confession, and what exactly do Hail Mary's really do? And saints, why do you guys pray to saints, you ONLY pray to God and in Jesus name. I feel like catholicism has turned into what the pharasies were. Jesus said, " Do not make my fathers house a marketplace" and that's the direction I feel Catholicism has went. The Pope was defending homosexuality and in the Bible it states no man should ly with another man. Also what about the multitudes of Catholic priests that have molested women.amd children and never get brought up on charges just re-assigned? Catholicism has lost its way imo.

If anyone thinks the Bible is the "word of God" and not ancient authors speaking for their imaginary god, they need to read the below article from a critical Biblical scholar and spend some time reading the other articles on his website.
"So for example, when we read carefully what Yahweh says in the book of Leviticus, namely that the Aaronids (the sons of Aaron only), are high priests contrary to the Levites, that they alone are Yahweh’s mediators and the Levites are reduced to mere ministers of the Aaronids, that only through sacrifice can one atone for sins and not confession as preached by the Levites, or more precisely the Levite’s Yahweh, etc., *it can be no coincidence that in these laws and commandments,* ***which are placed on the mouth of Yahweh,*** *that Yahweh himself is presented advocating and legitimating the very views and beliefs of the specific priestly guild writing the text, and, contrary to the views and beliefs of their rivals, the Levites and the Levite’s Yahweh!* We will examine this more closely when we get to the contradictions in these books. But in short, this was the function of ancient literature, and we are allowing these ancient texts to speak for themselves. *In this particular case, the Levites and Aaronids wrote specific texts that each advocated their religious beliefs, views, and their position as high priests* ***by writing these sentiments directly into the mouth of their god!***
But just studying the Bible alone, scientifically, affords us the occasion *to see that many of these so-called words of Yahweh are* ***actually the very words of the texts’ authors.*** When we see numerous texts employing this ancient literary technique, and moreover, ***presenting Yahweh as the spokesperson for their own views and agenda,*** *and* ***contrary*** *to Yahweh’s other words in other texts written by other authors employing the same technique,* how can one conclude otherwise.
In other words, when in the composite text that we now call the Bible we find: Yahweh declaring that only Aaronids can officiate as his priests and Yahweh declaring that all Levites can officiate as high priest; Yahweh declaring that sin is atoned through confession and Yahweh declaring that sin is only expiated through the sacrificial cult, no exceptions; Yahweh declaring that he gave laws and commandments at Sinai and Yahweh declaring that he only gave the Ten Commandments at Sinai; Yahweh commanding to exterminate all the Canaanites without pity and Yahweh declaring to tolerate them and live in their midst; Yahweh declaring that the wilderness generation were disloyal and rebellious and Yahweh declaring that they were a paradigm of loyalty and faith; Yahweh declaring that he may be offered sacrifices at any altar and Yahweh declaring that there is only one altar where sacrifices are to be offered up; Yahweh declaring that the people saw him at Sinai and Yahweh declaring that they only heard his voice; Yahweh declaring that circumcision is an eternal covenant and keeping the land depends on observing this very commandment and Yahweh declaring the Mosaic laws as the covenant and keeping the land is dependent on keeping these laws; Yahweh declaring that he dwells in the midst of the people and Yahweh declaring that he only resides in heaven; Yahweh commanding Passover to be celebrated by all at Jerusalem and Yahweh commanding it to be celebrated at each person’s home; Yahweh commanding that animals for consumption must be ritually sacrificed and Yahweh commanding that they don’t have to be sacrificed ritually, etc. ***one must conclude that Yahweh is being used by these authors, each with their own contrary views and beliefs as a spokesperson for each of these authors’ agendas.*** These are all the personal, and competing, views, theological beliefs, and religious systems of our biblical authors. And this is only the tip of the iceberg."
