Gary, You Sir, are a lucky man! To have a wife that can repair and remodel, paint and renew things! My wife is a deer in the headlights look, when it comes to things like that. She has no clue what tools or materials it takes. Great video!
Some folks love to work with their hands. Others, not so much. I'm also lucky to have Gary when I get myself stuck and sometimes don't have the experience to come up with better solutions. But I'm definitely not afraid to try something (except going up steep hills, ha!)
The absolute worst purchase I ever made was a new RV ,, nonstop issues and quality problems,, and from what I see on line this is quite common,,, apparently no one knows how to build things anymore,,, I had an old 1979 motorhome that didn’t give me anywhere near the problems as the new one !! Good Luck !! 👍🇺🇸
RVs are certainly a pain for upkeep. And you're right - I think this is a problem whether you purchase a $25K or a $500K RV. They're a lot more complicated than those 1979 motorhomes, but it seems like "lessons learned" from history were forgotten. I'm grateful we're handy to keep things running without having to run to an rv repair shop every time there's something wrong!
We were TRYING to look for a cave. Never found it. We tried to go south to another place called crack in the ground, but never made it there either - there wasn't a through path that wasn't on private property. Didn't realize that going in, but certainly made an interesting 2-dat trip in the forest! At least the lava bed was cool and we got to use the saw we bought a year ago!
What Gary didn’t bring his Tree Service Gear? Shame on him! I was waiting for him to bust out with some Pole Climbing Spikes. You two definitely are adventurous that’s for sure. Stay safe. ✌🏽
Wow...ya'll were "wheeling" that rig there a little bit. I just cant ever do that in my rig. I guarantee that if we even thought about treading out there in our rig, it would be quick sand and we would lose it all to the Sleestaks at the Earths Core...Gary needs to put a battery powered chainsaw in that tool box. lol...
At least we didn't find an inter-dimensional portal out there! We'll keep an eye out though! Someone mentioned a pole saw .. might be heading to the 'Depot!
Gary says he's fine with the manual saw. I think he's nuts, but I'll let him go at it. I think we'll get one eventually - when he comes to his senses, ha!
These folks found “ the crack in the ground” and also in a different video, “the hole in the ground” also in that same area. ua-cam.com/video/JW_42gR-G3c/v-deo.htmlsi=4DjF-Vi8pSqBIZy0
Oh, rub it in there! 😂Yeah, we tried to get there through Deschutes NF, and that's NOT the way to go. Better to head to Christmas, Oregon then go up. Maybe NEXT time we head up to Penpac!
I understand your concern but that truck coming down the hill was doing it at a fair speed. You are much heavier, if it was a Rocky base and not deep sand. I would’ve tried the road looking at that. So I have to claim wussy, sorry.

So did you find what you were looking for on that trail? Whatever that GPS was supposedly leading to? Glad to see you back on the road.

You guys need a battery pole saw :)
Now what would be the fun in that?! A right tool for the job?! 😁 Seriously good idea, though.
@@TheJoslynJourney Yes we noticed that Gary was gazing lovingly at you while you were up the ladder 😊
Hey, what can I say... I'm awesome 😎 haha!
I agree. We have one and it is a must-have!

Dang. Though I'll own that. I need to get a bit more open to try, even if I have to get out of the truck, ha!
p-oor guy
It was a bit of a challenge but learned a lot!
