Yes. That's a result of excellent songwriting. Musically, there's a suspended chord on that section that eventually resolves to a major chord (even though the majority of the song consists of minor chords). That's the musical explanation for chicken skin. 😂

On the recording SME kicked Ben Bram out of all production of their Self-Titled album. They had no idea of how to record for an a capella group and did layering of voices. Guess what? Kevin can't beatbox and sing at the same time live. That's right! That was KO's high note to be hittin'. They had to invite someone with that range to do this video. Oi. I think Sony's editing is why very few of the amazing songs on their self-titled album have ever been heard by anybody but fans that bought the CD, and catch them on random talk shows performing these few that they can do live. "New Years Day" is a good one that brought tears to Scotts' eyes in concert... A beautiful moment!
