good video dude. I just bought a fiesta 2006. The passenger side door doesn’t unlock from deadlock. I try unlocking from drivers side and other doors unlock and something is stuck to stop the passenger door unlocking and thus opening … even from the inside. Then all of a sudden it unlocked from the central locking. I then opened the door card and saw more bolts and I think I have to unbolt the electric window motor now, so I just halted the project for now. I sprayed a load of wd40 around the locking mechanism from where the hinge latches on to the lock. Is there any emergency way of opening the door if it doesn’t unlock from deadlock ? I’m not sure if the wd40 has helped or it looses electrical connection Altogether. I’ve left the internal door panel off for now… I maybe have to do a good Google search later
@@LiamsToolbox yeah dude. I also found some connectors from the drivers and passengers door. where the hinge is, they are in a rubber protector. the plastic part of the connector turns to disconnect, and reconnect. I made sure no loose connection there. I haven't had the problem since. I will also then check if the wires have split inside the rubber protector, due to wear and tear (if need be in the future).....will see !

Thank you, no i do not think there is a different way of opening it. Sounds like you need to replace the part that is causing the issue.
