Jon Devore. A badass. It's actually harder for Sean because he's having to keep Aamar head down so you can see him countersteering/counter balancing with his feet and legs during the jump to keep them stable and head down. All the camera man has to do is fly relaxed head down without having to worry about balancing someone else.
Well done Ammar. It is not only the jump itself most rewarding thing to watch, but the story behind it and the unexpected events that made it a dream jump.
Aye that's it. The jump itself isn't really that impressive. Any skydiver with over 200 jumps and 30 minutes of free fall are qualified to make this jump solo. Ammar clearly doesn't have that much experience, but he was with an instructor so meh. But the fact that this was his dream jump, he worked up the courage and had come so far and faced so many hardships in order to make this jump was truly inspiring. And the fact that he had a car crash prior to this and still went ahead with the jump is quite amazing. I've done a lot of skydives and one thing I know for sure is that if something feels wrong or things have been going wrong lately, then you should definitely not jump. Sounds superstitious and it probably is, but it's far better than jumping and something actually going wrong. So him making this jump despite a recent car crash is awesome.
Believe in the original video Sean says they went through nearly 5 miles in about a minute and half - not sure how close the estimate was. Probably was a few minutes tops
And that's why the Red Bull Team guys are the best. Think about all the minor corrections you subconsciously make while driving a car to keep it straight and between the lines. This is what the Red Bull jumper is doing with his feet/legs. He's countersteering/correcting to keep them both head down and he does it so naturally. I'd love to see this full speed to see how quick he's actually making those corrections. As a skydiver myself, I can safely say, head down is probably the hardest discipline to learn and master. I'm no where near it yet but working towards freeflying.
@@gouda2872 Yes, I did!! I got recurrent after what felt like a long winter and then did a 4 way belly :) then I had to go back to campus and finish a paper lol
There is something so beautiful and powerful about seeing them hold on to each other and make eye contact while falling out of the sky. The amount of vulnerability and trust here is incredible.
I watched it upside down as well and I can’t decide which one I like more. However the only thing I’m certain about is how grateful I am to have Yes Theory in my life. Thanks Ammar for taking us on your journey! The sky really isn’t the limit🌟🌍
The cameraman is the real hero here. It was so steady it looked like they were dancing at some points and that the sky and the ground was just a special effect. Well done!
That's not the curvature of the earth. It's distortion caused by a wide-angle lens. They are at lower height than what airliners fly at and you don't really see any curvature from an airliner.
YesTheory I can’t even explain to you how much you have inspired me and the world, Thank you for making me realise that the only thing in life that will start and end with us is our imagination.
This was so well made, my jaw dropped the first time I watched the full video. I haven't been in complete and utter awe at something in such a long time.
Was hoping uncut meant no slow-mo, this was pretty much the same as the other one. Amazing vid but would really enjoy seeing this without the slow-motion :)
The cameraman (Jon Devore) Did an amazing job on this! His skills is just amazing! And for those who dont skydive, and dont know how hard it actually is just to fall head first for so long. But at the same time have control on another person who has almost no experience in falling headdown, thats insane! No wonder Sean MacCormac is one of the best in the sport!
Can we all take a moment to recognize the camera man??? Captured this moment beautifully. I hope someone captured yours! Congratulations to all 3 of you!
Absolutely epic! Fantastic shots, music, people. All around an amazing video. Thanks to everyone who put this beautiful work together and congratulations on an amazing HALO Amar!
Wow this video is really inspiring me to go skydive and eventually learn how to solo skydive! I can guarantee you this video pushed a bucket list idea to something I will do in the next 10 years of my life. The feeling of being so free in the sky just looks amazing. Thank you so much Ammar and the Yea Theory team for pushing me to seek discomfort and break out of the bubble in my lifetime. I’ve never been so excited to live.
This video is so peaceful and beautiful made... I've watched it 3 times and it's incredible. Who ever says you don't have the balls to do anything, show them this video, that you can do anything you want only thing you gotta do is say yes, say yes to trusting people, say yes to your dreams that you might not even dreamed yet, the only one that can hold you back is you, prove only to yourself that anything is possible. Yes you are that same guy as Ammar, Matt or Thomas. Let's all stop being affriad and take the first step, mine will be to open my arms for friends I haven't met yet. Where and if I can, I will help the ones that needs it the most. If your struggling speak up and let some help you. Ammar, congratulations on the HALO jump, I wish I could have done it in my years in the armerd forces. ♥️🙏
My moonshot is to Paraglide/skydive one day. Few months back I went for paragliding but couldn't do due to overweight, I have started working out and I hope this year I could tick off one thing from my bucket list. Kudos to @ammar ❤️🙌 Your video was too inspiring 🔥🔥❤️❤️
Very happy for you dude. I'm sure that's something you will never forget!! You give a new meaning to the Seek Discomfort. I was thinking about going for a skydive as soon as the whole lockdown phase calms down but I was a little anxious about the whole thing. But that view from up there makes me wanna try it!
I maybe wrong here but these guys will help change the world one step at a time. Change humans to show more compassion than hatred. Love over fear. Mad Respect to you guys. It all starts with a simple idea but how that idea can change countless lives in countless countries extending from one continent to another is unimaginable. But yet these guys do it. I wish one day I get to meet these guys.

Awesome Amar i am really happy for you that u r pushing ur self very hard . and i am Happy in general after wataching this awesome video got goose bumps and chills all over the body after watching the RAW footage of the halo jump ....hope to meet you and yes family in the future if possible and will sure will try to a jump in the future ....
my favorite part about all yes theory videos is that they focus more on the journey getting to the goal than the goal itself. Obviously they show the goal being achieved but it’s always 2/3 the journey and 1/3 the goal. I don’t know if we have the editing team for that or if it’s truly the goal of each video. I absolutely love it though because the journey is always the best part of a goal
Cameraman didn't just keep Ammar in frame while falling from the sky head first, but absolutely nailed the cinematography at the same time 🤯
Probably a red bull sky diver, just a normal day for him lol
Who is this cameraman bro! Mans literally did so good! HE DID THE HALO JUMP AND RECORDED AMMAR AS WELL! Respect
@@Rinke03 obviously.. still did great

The bromance was unreal when they were falling
They kinda have to do that too but yeah
I want the original version to kind of get a sense of how fast this was lol
I think it is at original speed. It just had that much time
@@jamesl6852 If you look at the part where they jump, it's definitely slowed down - SpaceX rockets make it down from orbit in less time than this 😅
