Other people watched this during their childhood while I just started watched this last week and my age is 28 right now. I'm at least 15 years too late. How did I missed such a great series back then????
@@mohdrazif777 back then it came on at 12:00 or at 12:30 on Saturdays because it was on Adult Swim I remember most of the time I always slept through Inuyasha which came right before it.
It was my first anime that hasn't any fiction element or superpower and totally related to real-life. I was so impressed by the anime. I realized that I don't watch the anime to avoid reality but how it can make our reality more amazing. Anyone inspired to be a teacher must see this masterpiece series. Then the school would truly be fun and full of learning not just for the career but learning of life-lessons too. I wish I had such a class teacher.
I'm 19 and I just finished the series today. The ending had me crying but I'm also really happy because I learned so much from this anime and I'm truly greatful for that. I'll never forget Eikichi Onizuka's funny personality and seriousness for his job and passion for teaching others. He has to be undoubtedly one of my favortie characters of all time. I take the lessons that I learn to heart and I plan to teach others even if it's not in a school setting.
I deeply thank dad for introducing me to this master-piece at a very young age, i was 4 almost 5 at the time, didn't understand much but i surely had one of the best moments watching this with him. 12 years later, same feeling.
Nelson Kurose Junior Yeah same...but unfortunatly there is no gonna be a second season... :( feel so sad about that,I watch it every year and still feel the same emotions the first time I watched it!
I've been in a bad mood for a few years by now, growing up erased many joyful evenings when responsibilities, love affairs and adult stuff were absent and I was free from all problems of adulthood. I miss the days when I was still in high school and generally I miss my younger self. But about a week ago I felt happiness for the first time in years, the reason as silly it may be, is that I made 22 years, so now I can rightly present my self just like Onizuka does in the anime. Stay strong everyone and most importantly live your life to the fullest.
GTO was so good and I highly recommend whoever has never watched it, to watch it. It'll pull at your heart strings but will have you dying of laughter seconds afterwards. Onizuka is the ideal teacher.
I would say the best thing about it is people in school learn lessons from it and people who are older have had this lessons and watchikg this is like a throwback and you feel young again and miss the good old days gto is for both young people visiting school and people who have finished school
To be honest, this is the only ending song I love from all the anime I've watched. This is just so melodic and weirdly emotional. I'm 21 and it makes me nostalgic about my childhood and school days. Now life is just stressful with adult stuff, work etc. But this song just makes me feel calm. It helps me not give a fk to anything that gives me unnecessary pressure and stress. Just can't keep myself away from hearing this song.
