That is a lot of weight for that truck. I couldn't believe how much those old sa200's weighed until I took one off with a tractor. The back wheels starting coming feet off the ground. Then put a Lincoln 350, and had no problem. It's why those machines run so smooth is all that copper winding. I've had tweakers steal my lead twice while doing tilt ups, and it was 3000'. Only if they new how much copper was in the machine.
Im curious about how that fold out table works and what it looks like in action. You have mentioned it in a couple of videos but i dont recall seeing it being used. I feel that table is an interesting concept Can you please show some more on that at least a pic. Thanks for the vids
I love your Chanel cos I learn everyday from it I also wish to advance in my career of welding. I wana be a pipeliner and I believed you can help me by Educating me how and where should I do it and to recommend a genuine institution or better still a Training centre for this advancement. Thanks from Africa work in UAE-Dubai
Wally, you said that was a 1/2 ton Chevy ???? Or 3/4 ton ?? Just curious what he did for suspension if it was a 1/2 ton....... Good work !!!! It’s how I started out, simple low budget...... worked my way into a flatbed Rig Truck after making alittle money...... not about the rig....... all about the skill of the welder in the end !!! Nice job !!!
Well there is pros and cons. Weight is a con but easy access is a pro. It's really how ya look at it. For just breaking out low budget might be the way to go till ya can invest into bigger trucks
That's a 6:5" standard bed tho. The short beds are like 5'5". Regardless of cab configuration. Setup isb slick tho, still lose a lot of room in those vs the long bed
@@TheWeldProfessor hey man how did you but the fenders to get it to fit I know it won’t fit sideways in the bed the fenders are too close to the front of the bed on my second gen 😊

Weld Professor, I'd like to see a video about the money! Hourly rate, truck rent, perdeam...Also requirements like insurance.
I'm not one to brag about my money I never show it off. Kinda against policy to display that stuff. I could give ya a idea tho how it all looks.
Last guy I knew who broke out started at $43 an hour, $14 a day truck rent, and $100 a day per diem.
Hell yea son, get it! Best of luck Brent!
He gots it in the bag homie
Shit I hope so. Big thangs poppin up next

Looks like a 3/4 ton looking at the lugs,
Yeah he needs to add leaf springs that are heavy duty and maybe some air backs because it has a lil cali lean to it.
@@TheWeldProfessor so is the helpers truck half ton or not at time of video?
Is that a SA-200 if so how did u fit it sideways ?
We cut that side wall
What are the pros & cons in having a SRW truck ??
