There's a GMC dealership near me that has a bunch of them all of that black widow BS on them... they even have some on the Denalis and msrps on those are pushing your $90,000.... and that's a lot of money there's some cheap generic knock-off stuff that no one's ever heard of until GM started using them.... and I am a die-hard GM guy telling you that
Id rather buy a used truck a few years old and put my own stuff on it then use the rest of the money and go on vacation with it
$1,000-$1,500 for lift kit parts
$300-$500 labor to install lift
$1,600 Tires
$800 wheels
=$3,700-$4,200 in cost for lift, wheels & tires... this is in Texas. Just another example of the crazy markups dealerships have

It's not inflation. You can buy a computer for less now than 20 years ago. Its auto maker greed. Trying to sell you stuff you don't need. No matter they are discontinuing cars and focusing on trucks. They can charge you twice as much money. Pretty soon all cars will be starting at $40,000.
No truck is worth that much money. Vehicle prices are extremely inflated. Value for money is terrible anymore.

These kinds of vehicles are for a very specific kind of market and it is small hence why he only has one. Most of us just laugh at its ridiculous price, but there is a guy out there that loves to piss money away to show off to others that would love to have this thing.
Rims would look better Red & Black. Also red stitching on the seats..

I agree, my neighbor just got a new one and the tires are missing at least a few inches of sidewall! I think it had 35's, needs at least 37's on smaller wheels! IDK but something looks funny!
So how does a package with a $2k lift kit, $2k worth of rims and tires and a bunch of mostly plastic pieces end up costing over $18k? Looks like your initial warning about those tack on window stickers is true for this truck as well.
I think the people need to come together and stop buying new cars until the price comes back to reality.. once the dealerships, finance companies and manufacturers get hungry, we’ll be able to get a realistic new car price.

Being second generation in construction, I was raised up with pickups. Haven't even owned a car in 30 years. My ol man said a truck was a motor with a bench seat with an 8 ft. bed to haul stuff. You know, what a truck is for...to haul stuff. God how screwed up we really are now when the selling point of a pick-em-up truck is graphics and lights shaped like a spider. Some geek in his parents basement is dreaming of this "truck" right now.

Once parts are available at the dealership, I’m going to get some of those lights and install them in the doors of my 68 C10. I’ll call it “The Tick Widow”.
The Storage seats suck for comfort I was going with and RST and they all had them and everyone hated them so ended up with LT Allstar with the normal rear seat
im gonna side with DmaxRyno on these truck and say that it is definitely not worth the price
If the price is really 61k then that's not bad. Problem is that most dealers only put the actual truck price and slam you with the package price when you go to look at it. They also get pissy when you tell them they are garbage for wasting your time.
I live 10min away from the SCA factory. All their trucks are amazing

When the price of gas jumps to $5 a gallon, you will see these trucks selling for clearance prices.
Definitely a unique truck. Leather seats , wheels, exhaust, lift kit and so on with a factory warranty is definitely worth 18k.
Two things that are wrong with the truck one it needs the 22 inch rims with the bigger tires and two it has the 5.3 L motor which really is under powered it really needs 6.2
The 5.3 is the better choice..reason is that people can still run 87 gas on it. Where as for the 6.2 you HAVE to run 93 premium no exception.
Pricing is high on these trucks, but you get what you pay for. I love the Southern Comfort builds including their Black Widow line. First time I've seen a Silverado build. Usually, I see their builds done on Ford F150's & F250's. I like this one.
Nice truck, but I would take a stock one over the modified one.
Something about non factory leather seats they are never tight idk what it is I had a challenger before they came out i guess but my budget was low so I had to get leather added after terrible seats the leather is thicker and just feels like crap

Honestly, I've bought vehicle (including my latest pathfinder) just because of an enthusiastic honest salesman who didn't dick me around. 8 years of seeing salespeople behind the scenes, there's a good reason the term "stealership" is used.

61,000 really isn't bad considering I was looking at new trucks at my dealer and a trail boss MSRP was 57,000. Unfortunately, I like GMC tailgate, which Chevy doesn't have.

The lift is a 1200 dollar kit tires about 1500 and rims 1000 on the high side . My tundra has a level kit and 35 that's going with a set 6112 and 5100 bilstein. 1600 for tires and rims and 1000 for the shocks . Installed. . For the extra 20g i would take it to 4 wheelers have it built better and pocket 10g plus after paying them.

My Denali , even with out the spider Logo's is as nice ! But Looks vs Reliability , I chose Reliability which I didn't get for all the bucks I spent. LOL To many of us Customers get sucked by the appeal affect , the look what I got ! But I did get the 6.2 , 400 plus HP

When you say you can sell a car (or Silverado) anywhere is the country, how do you handle the various emission certifications. Example: unless it's changed recently NJ new vehicles need a NE1 cert. California has their own cert and the rest of the states have an FE9 cert. I bought my 2014 Silverado in Florida and because it was FE9 and not NE1 I could not register in NJ for the first year. I have a home in FL so I registered there. After a few years, I transferred the registration and title to NJ.

Love the how the truck is outfitted, but IMO the tires are way too tiny for the lift. Unless rubbing, turning radius, etc. was accounted for and anything bigger just rubbed against the fenders/body mounts/etc. I guess there's just too much wheel well gap for my liking. If you're adding space make it functional or make it good looking. Otherwise, it's a good looking truck with a bunch of quality components other than the fake hood vents and gimmicky spider hologram ... seems kinda gimmicky.
Badging? Gimmicky as well, but I'll give SCA credit for the attention to detail. Exhaust is solid. I like the sound.
And I'm still not sure about the price, though. Seems steep for what you're getting. It'll take on some trails, but it's a pavement princess at heart. Lot's of NVA (non-value adds) on the trade. I'd settle for the same truck without the "Nerf" bars - which aren't rock rails to make it work where I go - I'd have to mod over the mods. But you did it justice and I know that you'll sell it fairly, I've just built a few trucks and want people who may not have the same experience to know what I had to learn the hard way.

Bowling Green, KY has a dealership "Campbell Chevrolet of Bowling Green" which is on 2151 Scottsville Rd. that is a 7 mile / 11 minute drive from the Corvette Plant which is located on 600 Corvette Drive. Your dealership is 1 hour 38 minutes up to 2 hours and 113 miles plus depending on how you drive from/to the Corvette Plant from Louisville. I think the math explains itself as too who would take delivery of a newly built Corvette first. Just saying!!
My point was.......Descriptive verbiage of yourself and dealership is often not necessary and/or wanted. It's awesome you sell a lot of cars each month but do your viewers really need to hear you say "I'm one of the top Chevrolet Salesman" on so many videos? I am truly happy for you! However, I subscribe and watch your videos because of your attributes not because you sold 40 cars last month or a $149K Corvette. That stuff is just junk!

I own a 2018 Silverado Z71 Black widow. I love it. It’s more than just a lift kit and badging , interior has been upgraded with custom leather seats , painted interior trim pieces a new gauge cluster; Mine came with the retractable amp running boards,and 20 inch wheels
BF Goodrich tires. Is the package worth 18K ? The bank says no you will loose that 18k when you drive it off the lot. However at 61k. That is a bargain price for that truck with that package ,

Asking because my nearest dealer has said they do not have the ability to put in allocation orders yet, but they know how many they have.

maybe you as a GM Guru can answer this question for me why are the Colorado so expensive I've known multiple people that have gotten them and they get rid of them almost immediately only thing faster than the gas motor would be the diesel I don't understand it is there an inherent problem with it?

Truck looks great but wheels and tires cost roughly 3000 bucks lift kit is roughly 500 bucks, how's does dealer come up with 18 grand worth of options?
GM Tech here, that truck is gonna be a hard sell but im sure you will find that one special person that thinks its cool.
