- The SCA Performance Black Widow has taken the Chevy Silverado Z71 to a new level. What started off life as a Silverado RST is now a totally different truck Under the hood is a 5.3L V8 pumping out 355 HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with 4x4. The Black Widow has a custom lift, exterior treatments, and of course custom wheel & tires. The Black Widow theme has also been brought into the interior of the truck as well. Is the 2020 SCA Performance Black Widow the best custom Silverado?

Burlington NJ dealer has a ton of these for $55-61k depending on the 5.3 or 6.2, not bad honestly
Exterior looks good and i love those wheels... BUT, any vehicle called Black Widow should come in 1 color only... and that aint it. 😉

The interior really lets this gorgeous pickup truck down.
I test drive it today and it was a matte grey color and it was amazing😍 the infotainment system could be more updated for sure
I love the RST line. Much nicer than the OPQ and UVW trims if you ask me
All jokes aside though haha this truck is gorgeous! I love it; especially in this paint. It looks real aggressive and rugged

For some odd reason you’re limited on options as far as vehicles with arachnid storage and convenience

I love the exterior but that interior base on Chevy design I have to zonk it. I think SCA does a good job with the Black Widow package.

While Ram is busy working on interior...chevy concentrates on the important things that make it a truck and not a home entertainment center.
i notice with black widow; it feels like they always stop halfway with the interior. they stitch the front two headrest with the widow but leave out the back seat which looks bad. people keep thinking that they increase the performace with the engine... No black widow package dont. Why are you reeving your engine for a exhaust tip change lol. There is no engine modification. unless I'm wrong.

It's a big truck for sure. It definitely needs some touches but then you go beyond that 72,000.00 price point. I think I still like the Raptor better even with the ecoboost engine.

5.3 engine is just a slap in its face.....wtf were they thinking? I love my rst but if I upgraded to this...I want the 6.2 but not at 100k dollar price.

The 2019 and the 2020 Silverado1500 custom has no interior storage underneath the arm rest... That's sucks...Having storage underneath the arm rest should be included after all this is a common thing to have at any cost. They took it to the extreme by not having it....for that reason I wouldn't buy one....

This is true but many don't opt for the bigger engine due to price.
@@RaitisRides 6.2 is the top dog including the 6.7
@@RaitisRides msrp around 72k and turning that into 74k for the 6.2 and 10 speed is a much worthwhile upgrade to me. I could understand if the trucks MSRP was 45-50k, but 72k on a "performance black widow", the 6.2 is a must imo. The other option would be the 3.0 duramax if you wanted low end torque over better acceleration.
Either way the 5.3 does not belong in a truck like this. It would be like a f150 with a performance package and the 2.7 turbo. The one good thing about ford is the 3.5 ecoboost is their top engine and volume engine, vs GM which their volume engine is not their top engine

This should have been the truck Chevrolet produced straight from the factory. GM still takes last place in New trucks. New Ram and F150 tied for first then Nissan Titan, Toyota Tacoma, Honda Ridgeline finally Chevrolet Silverado dead last

Love this Truck! Hate this review. WAAAY too much complaining and zonking! I want to see more black widows everywhere...whaaa whaaa whaaa. All the complaining gets old very fast.

I’m sorry but with the exception of the ZL1, the design team needs to be fired for horrid front ends they’re putting on Chevy products! That aside the Black Widow (snout excluded) is a good looking rig that will be relegated to mall crawling duty 🤣🤣

This isn't a diesel.
What a rip off. Basic lift kit, ugly wheels, all the ugly black widow emblems, ugly fender flares, and some laughable brake covers. Pretty sad that with that price you don’t get a coil over suspension, power steps, 35 inch tires, or any engine upgrades.
The only good thing about the package is that you get a warranty.

No offense but that truck is garbage. No supercharger no ram air hood no up grade radio. There's is nothing special about that truck. My truck is a rocky ridge edition supercharged with nitto tires. Those bf Goodrich KO baja tire are great but they dont last over 30 thousand miles. Ram & ford are still ahead unfortunately. Good video good luck.
