Welcome to my first impressions video for the 2024 Wildlife Event! Yet again we have a bunch of buildings, some of which are really good, some of which are meh. The event is LOOOONG, 30 days of candy crush :O

In case you didn't notice the daily login task give 15 instead of 20.
Interesting choice with a building that gives rogues. With all the buildings that give troops that was almost the only missing one to make a low level Alcatraz obsolete.
Btw if you scroll down the daily challenges have also the other tools.
if they keep doling out event builds that need pop the habitat may become needed, cause most will run out with all these new buildings use up all our population in towns
Exactly, with 10 pumpkin buildings i am out of population. I have no problem to buy golden chest every event, but if main event buildings dont add population and mini buildings consume population, there is no point for me to buy these chests
Better to go inno tower. That gives fps. Habitat gives coins. Just some food for thought
yeah. except habitat and inno tower on level 80 give about 90-100 k population total . and a single jumpin pumpin requires about 20 k population. so having both gives just about 5 pumpkins. yes the era matters so an iron age player will benefit way more from those 2 GB to offset negative population. but then the buildings space is more scarce. but in space age jupiter moon. the effect of those two buildings is pretty small. not to mention when they release next eras.
Is it possible to get a list of the daily prizes? For the wildlife event?
Aren't the dimensions on the buildings backwards? Alligator Swamp should be 2x3, not 3x2 for instance. Actually, all of them seem to be backwards or am I missing something?

it sounds like they lengthened the event to 4 weeks because the event quests are said to be more challenging

My fav event of the year, minigame is really fun. And the gold league prize is good enough to expend some Diamonds if necessary, if they dont change the specifications in the live servers🤓
@@albertofernandez3277 The gold league prize is nearly always excellent. The challenge is trying to figure out how much time and how many diamonds you can afford, given that you need to spend more than so many OTHER players who also want to finish in Gold League.🤑

weird that so far in Beta they are skipping the Panda Shrine but are focused on the Wildlife Crossing...

A very good question. There are now a year's worth of Golden upgrades (from 2023 events) that we don't know if we will be able to ALSO earn in upcoming events or not. (I'm not on Beta, don't know for this event.)
The shrine of the panda building was in effect the gold version by having the gold panda statue giving out fragments for it. In my opinion anyway,. No doubt inno will soon introduce a platinum lvl on all the gold upgraded buildings
You can get the golden panda in 150 days if you land in Apprentice (Bronze) league. But not if you land higher!
Too long, too many, not enough time between them! Event buildings that make GBs obsolete! Events are crazy out of hand. Totally pay to win now, very sad!

MooingCat - I don't know what makes you think that anything in this event is generous... especially when they have cut the number of coins and "extra goes" you get. NOTHING that Inno give, is "generous"!!! {and it continues to get worse with every event... as Inno's greed increases}
If I may give my 2 cents, don't invest your FPs in TA, because very soon it will no longer compensate for the high investment and its 24 tiles size . Many old GBs are getting to their end.
I don't know about "very soon." At level 80, you get 55% x 4 = 9.16 att/def per square. That's probably going to be decent for awhile.
@@dmhendricks 9.16% if you sum up attacking army boost with city defense. But they don't have the same importance.
Also, Inno is giving so much city defense that what TA gives is irrelevant already. I don't have SBC, DC and Pegasus, for example, I completely ignored city defense and I finish the GE level 5 by fighting every week. If I take out 55%, it changes nothing.
About the attacking army, it's already the half of what this new gold league building gives, and TA gives no income at all, plus a very expensive cost to level. Push AO and you can reach 150%+ attrition, whether you have TA or not.
@@joaofstock I weight defense at 4/5 value of attack, and blue stats at 1/3 value of red stats. So my L101 TA is 6.1 attack per tile equivalent, still better than the bulk of new event buildings, even when adding weight for goods production.
Don't forget GE scales by age, so while GE5 may be easy for whatever age you're in currently, it may be more challenging for higher age players. In SAT my blue GE stats are around 2700/2500 (including L101 SBC & L50 peg) and I'm barely able to auto-battle through 80.
@@AdamBittner still 114k investment (using 1.9) to get 66% of city defense boost. If you have 2.6k or 2.4k attack/ defense it's almost the same. The 66% from TA will not decide anything.
I don't care at all about city defense and yet I have more than 1k att/def and it's always growing, because the event buildings just come with it. Plus they give goods, FPs, fragments. So a much better use of the space.
The new year is just starting and the stats are skyrocketing. Remember the last winter event, where players spent around 15k diamonds to get the Chocolatery, because nutcrackers were so great. Then during the course of the year, much better stuff came in and now many Chocolateries are stored into inventories.
That's why if I didn't have a TA yet, I wouldn't build one. Just invest these 114k in your Arc or AO, for example, and make a much safer investment.
How do you know we’re not get GB’s upgrades in future? ;)
this again... really? they should slow down on events if they have to recycle the same event every 2momnths
