- Ya’ll know Martial Club can’t be letting Halloween slip without a Kung Fu Horror skit right?! This is a tribute to the classic Chinese folklore creature, known as Jiangshi. Jiangshi legends have inspired a genre of films in Hong Kong and this has inspired Martial Club to carry on this genre with our modern twist! We hope you guys enjoyed this video as much as we enjoyed making it. It has been a crazy year juggling between working on movies and our passion projects here at Martial Club. Even though we are working on movies, we find our pride and joy here! So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all supporters who have stuck around! Me: I can't exercise in my bedroom, it's too small.
Brian 'nem: We're gonna shoot this entire short film in the garage.
the most insane halloween short ever
Yo team Red pro love you guys Channel
This short would be nothing without THE YOUNG MASTER JOSEPH LE 🙏
@@MartialClub definitely caught the essence of those films with spirits 😂
@@MartialClub is he your brother or a close family cause he has the same last name
@@MartialClub try to approach China film producers to promote your team. There's no future for you guys in America. HK film industry is dead so left just China. The could provide you guys Mandarin course in order for you guys to speak Mandarin, choreograph and act in their movies.
Lam Ching-ying is smiling from Heavens. He would have been so proud. RIP to a great legend
I remember Lam Ching Ying more for his awesome role of Leung Yee Tai in Prodigal Son.
Lam ching ying is a legend!!
@@PRODIGY-vr4sd wished he didn't pass so soon :(
😭😭
I miss Lam Ching Ying very very very very very much. These guys are really reviving all the kung fu spirits back to life.
I also miss young Jet Li, Jackie Chan, and Stephen Chow. It is such a shame big film makers are all about looks and technology, their people lack skills.
Freaking amazing job everyone! Love all the old Kung fu inspiration in this one! GREAT lighting 🙌🏻 Really making these look like feature films now!
Thanks brother!
@@jules_69420 did you take part of making this short movie?
@@isaacyeon6334 yeah just a little. We try to credit everyone who takes part. Small team, big effort!
@@jules_69420 awesome, this short film was so much fun to watch
What's the song at the end?
If that wasn't a world class performance, then what is? And we saw it for free. Thanks lads, that was great. Good luck with your movie careers.

do u watch mr vampire 1985?
Brian is a quadruple threat. Fighting, acting, writing and directing.
The amount of growth in this video alone is just crazy. From jokes, to acting, to filming, to stunts, and to martial arts. You guys embody the Shaw brothers 💯
The whole martial club gang have really leveled up their acting, massive respect to the dedication these guys put in
Everybody is great but big man cracks me up playing the silly oops oh well characters and you can tell he's really smart and the partner that always says do it like this they crack me up
I love the classic Hong Kong cinema style and am so happy you guys are keeping it going. Absolutely nailed that ending freeze frame!
ya
I like how Andy takes his sweet time to do his full choreo intro sequence as Brian is getting his rear savaged by a vampire.
True brotherhood.
DOPE AF!!!!
I know right?
bro i haven't seen your vids in ages, why'd u stop posting?
Omg, you are actually here! I haven't seen you on UA-cam for years🤯I know you will never post on your channel but I enjoyed your content though
Long time no see man
You guys officially making movies in house I'm grateful to have been able to watch your growth. I hope Jackie Chan and many others see this. The martial arts legacy continues!
Jackie knew these guys but he won't recommend them to China movie producers because he doesn't want anyone better than him to be in film industry. So is Donnie. They are all selfish people wanted only themselves to be only legends. Andy, Brian and gang should try to approach China filmmakers directly
These guys belong to the same league as Jackie Chan, they are his only hopes to continue the legacy. Please bring back all the kung fu and real comedies. I hope they can conquer the film industry.
@@jawarakf Oh dang that will be so sad!
@@jawarakf how did you know?
@@dav5119 that's show business industry's politics, although veteran legendary actors retired, they don't want anyone better that surpasses them. If Bruce Lee did not die, by late 70's, his show would become obsolete and dull when actors with acrobatic stunt skills having good looks and style would surpass Bruce in movie industry. Even Bruce would use his influence to suppress better actors like Jackie, Sammo by then becoming arch rival.
The choreography, the styles, the humor and the homage to the classics are just a few aspects of what make these men so awesome and unique in their own right! Thank you @Martial Club for your awesomeness and please keep making beautiful and highly entertaining videos for us to enjoy! May God bless!!
Wow this is really impressive. You guys really captured the essence of classic Hong Kong vampire movies. They don't make this genre of films anymore even in HK sadly but you guys really pulled it off.

Lam Ching Ying would be smiling right now. Happy Halloween martial club :D
You guys are killing it. I'm an older guy that's been into martial arts, and the culture. I lived on Shaw Brothers films. Martial Club is doing a great job of carrying the torch into the future. Rock on.
Andy: don't touch the bowl.
Brian: touch! Touch! Touch!
Dude this choreography is so good. So much better than Hollywood such a throwback to early Hong Kong fights movies
This was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! THANK YOU FROM ME AN MY SON WHO ENJOYED THIS AWESOME PIECE OF WORK!

I grew up watching all the Yuen Wah Jiangshi movies and TV-series, love this hommage!!! The props in this short were awesome, but you guys missed out on using the coinstring sword / wooden sword to show off some weapon moves.
“Mirror mirror on the wall yo ugly homie” that made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
These guys should really shoot their movie😂😂. Loyal fans are waiting
They are gOod✊
I love martial arts movies that combine magic/supernatural with the story, especially with dark or horror elements. This was great!
Perfect homage to Encounters with the Spooky Kind and Mr. Vampire, while also still being unique and original. Amazing work as always!
Very funny and with an immense technical quality. This channel has had this fantastic quality for a long time, but I don't know what is missing to grow even more.
It’s insane to see the quality of your guys work improve so much. You guys are amazing!
This was brilliant! It captured the feeling of the Lam Ching Ying films and Happy Ghost.
The martial arts is so amazing in this!! Great job guys!!
Zombie was hopping due to being very stiff. But when he start fighting he becomes very limber! Good stuff, well done.
People celebrate Halloween: ASIANS: DOING SHIT WITH VAMPIRE
Completely insane, and captures the very Chinese flavor and over the top goofiness of these types of films.
THIS IS INSANE, It’s like I m watching a clip of movie

I see you also have found the comfort, speed and quickness of the ultimate shoe: Air Monarchs
Dude, this video really gave me classic Hong Kong action movies vibes. Great job guys!:D
watch at usa?
I want more emotion and more blows, I have a desire for blood and here are some great teachers
Loved It!! The Shaw Brother are smiling from heaven looking at this.
These guys should be in Hollywood already.
They are much more original.
Hollywood would screw it up. Like always. They'd certainly be a breath of fresh air though! They're ahead of the curve and nowadays Hollywood neither knows how to market such projects(innovation or nostalgia) nor most non-white actors. Especially Asian and Asian-Americans. Martial Club deserves better than a WB or SONY/Amy Pascal's tricky bullshit. I say, we independently fund them a cash flow and get them a movie!
@@Lunacyk
You've got a good point there.
Even if we dont, their art form is timeless.
This is all the sincere and hard work for filming.

I love this. One of the best Halloween shorts I’ve seen this year
years later....and Wolf Ki Do still can't get the job done...
After this movie I feel like Chinese films inherits from you and not on the contrary.
Guys what an awesome job you're doing! You know like after this film I film that you deserve not only taking leading roles in kungfu movies but actually start your studio and finally make a 2 hours full blown kungfu action comedy! I mean before this there was just a perfect martial arts performance but here you've shown yourselves as such a great actors! DMah was so damn real zombie! And his choreography - to me it seems absolutely unique, didn't see anything alike in Chinese movies! (I watched a lot of them)
