Just ripped my 2022 500 in at the Durty Dabbers 2022. Did about 230 miles of singtrack/dirt roads/gravel/mud/big rocks/sand/roots/pavement. It was a total beast and amazing to ride.
They come with both 13 and 15 tooth front sprocket...15 is tooo tall. Top end on the 15 is like 115mph which there is no point for this type bike, just put on the 13 and its about as good as it gets. Absolutely love mine. My 22 is closer to Orange than Red 😀
See I like the 15 better, I'm buggin around town mostly on mine, 80% street prolly. I also got a kick starter on mine, I just couldn't have a dirt bike w no kick start it just ain't right.
Agreed if your 80% street 15 all the way, I'm about 90% off-road. Its not that close to redline with the 13 tooth @65mph, but feels like its running too high...Same with the 15 running technical stuff @ 10mph with the 15, it's very luggy. Glad Beta gives both sprockets! The dealer I got it runs his with a 14 with a 50 rear.
I've been looking at both the beta 500 and honda 450rl. Beta is offering a rebate that actually gets the cost lower than the honda, and honda needs a $700 ecu just to be rideable. Easy choice
I just got the 2023 200rr, and road it first time and the check engine fault is showing. Manual says call beta dealer asap... idk... my first bike. Anybody else seeing this?
The 500exc is worse for the street by far than the Beta. If you do some reading on their forum their doing total rebuilds at 5k miles, that's ridiculous
I've been a 2 stroker for life but I love my 22 500rrs. I needed one because California... No 2strokes on the street. Cant ride most trails here if you're not plated
What are the service intervals? Valve checks top end oil changes? Stuff like that.. Noone seems to answer my questions
Right?
Not trying to be rude, but have you considered calling a dealer to ask these questions?
@@andrewmesser334 yes I have.. and would not give that information.. but sure tried like heck to sell me one
I love this bike. I'm trying to decide between the beta 500 or the ktm 500..
Yeah, that's a tough one dude!
Ktm always

The stock Beta is a better bike in my opinion however there is more after-market stuff for the KTM available
Your RPM can be lowered by changing the sprockets
Does it have a 🔑 steering lock to keep the honest peeps from rolling it away ?
I believe it does.

Is it “loud” & “throaty” stock? Would u advise putting one on? & a CDI box? What you think buddy? (I’m gonna do 90% off road)
just bought my first beta 500 rrs. easier to get than a Honda
And way sweeter! 😁

My experience and research shows otherwise. Thanks for your input though.
It's not a 2 stroke so it automatically sucks

Check out the new GasGas 500cc 2 stroke, efi, 6 speed, street legal machine that Kaplan just got. He has it on his channel
