Brilliant review thanks just what I was looking for 👍🏾
Thanks. Glad you found it informative
Spot on video. sums up the running costs well.
Thanks mate....yours should be similar other than RFL?
Useful information - thanks. I’m running out of reasons not to buy one. Enjoy your “sideways action”!
It's a great car and if you drive it like the way its not meant to be driven then you'll get decent mpg lol
You did great job with this mate. Thank you.
Welcome mate, anytime
Really great video, skips the nonsense and straight to the facts. Thanks for the content!
Thanks mate. Glad you found it useful
This was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Thanks
Glad you found it useful!
Thank you for the info sir
Which year did BMW put the PPF exhaust mod for thr F80/F82?
Good video mate👍. Covers the costs well.
Thanks mate. 👍🏽
Very Good Info Video Thank you
Welcome mate. Hopefully persuade you to get one now lol
Looking at facelifted cla45 and f80 m3 the miles to empty is quite low?
Good Video
Good wideo. Informative
Fank you
Hahahaha
how much kmpl sir pla tell
25 not bad at all, I noticed my rs3 was worse then my s3 used to get around 22 town and 33 motorway and now me and the mrs got a diesel discovery and it’s just as shit on fuel 😂. In the market for a f80 just finding it hard to drop on the right spec
No silly 4wd transmission to turn makes a big difference, and I’m guessing it’ll be similar weight wise to an s3/rs3.
Just remember, there’s no replacement for displacement 😉
Great video, in the market for an M4 Comp circa 2017 now
Did you find your MPG increased after the remap, real world driving that is not when you’re playing?
Thank you. Fuel economy isnt really affected bizarrely. If anything a little better I find
Hi
If you drive on high rpm all the time how much will be the fuel consumetion?
Yes
If you should choose g20 bmw or s5 Sportback ?
2 very different cars. S5 and M340i are closely related rather than my 320d. I say the BMW G20 is more modern and probably a better car across all comparable engine guises
Bro how much you can get for second hand bmw m4 in uk?
Depends on a few factors like age and mileage and spec. An early 2014 with reasonable miles probably around £25k and 2017 facelift with low miles like mine around £35k+ a late 2019/20 one for about £40k+ a M4CS will be like £50k+ and a gts....well they're rare
we need comparison in parts...Maybe in england there is road tax and etc where i live there isnt so my main issue how much the parts cost? and how expensive is to replace it. I want comparson like bmw m3/m4 vs 335i e92 parts like i need repair prices and shit! everybody is talking about sport cars about insurance and in the end what makes is repair costs
That's not "running costs" that's repair costs which I don't intend to cover because that usually follows on from an accident and touch wood i dont intend to want to be involved in.
@@DownShiftThrottle thanks for clarifying :)
If you are doing a feature on running costs at least check your facts - it’s not hard to look up the VED rates ! For post 2017 cars you have to wait 6 years before the tax drops after the date of first registration ( ( year one for a new car like an M4 is a lot, then years 2-6 drop down to the £400+ bracket. After that it drops to the £145 band ( prices will have changed since this video).
Bloody hell dude! Thank you!
if im coming from a 1.2 renault clio 04? :
🤣 🤣 🤣
Jeezes taxes are cheap in the UK man. In belgium it will cost me around 900euros yearly roadtax. Im getting a 2018 m3 conpetition telesto. And registratiin tax is antoher 2.5k, im moving to london bruv haha
Hahaha.....just for clarity.....when buying a brand new car the tax is much higher depending on the emissions I believe.....so for example on this car brand new the first year tax might have been like £2k.
As for London.....not safe at the moment with new variant lol. Safer in Belgium lol
@@DownShiftThrottle ohh ok, here the taxes remain the same, new or not. But all cars prior to 2019 are cheaper. If this m3 m4 was a 2019 or 2020 model then registration tax would be 5000euros. I mean are u kidding me?? Bunch o thieving c*nts. But hey, at least we know what we work hard for right? Ill keep following u mate, u got some nice vids, stumbled upon ur channel while impatiently waiting for mine to arrive and passing time at night by watch every single m3 m4 vid there is 😂
But UK insurance is probably crap tonnes more
240 miles from a tank of 60L is actually 18mpg. If you were getting average 25mpg you’d be getting 330 miles from a tank
Thank you....you're making me feel even worse now.....lol
I was thinking it’s pretty bad on tank range…my mapped f31 330d does over 500 miles per tank on the same 60L…..
That said you were quite clear in what you use the car for….lots of stop and start traffic, so if used on some more open roads I’d like to think you’d at least see 300 miles to a tank?
Plz tell me the exact value brother in city how much mileage it gives
If you drive it like a mini city car it will give you 20-25mpg in city. If you drive it like it's meant to be driven it will give you 15-18mpg
@@DownShiftThrottle are you sure m3 give 15 to 16 Lltre mileage
I have a Seat FR and I pay £20 for 200 miles. My heart sank when I heard £70 for 200 miles 😅
Unfortunately our government work backwards, you buy a more up to date and best emissions car but get punished because "you can afford it" on the worst roads ever recorded
Your rfl will be £475 until it’s 5 years old but you also got to remember that rfl increases yearly about a fiver due to inflation
True....I think last time I renewed it was £465. Makes no sense. Discrimination all over.
So after 5 years your M4 will be taxed at £145 ish and a car that has similar emissions but pre Apr 17 will be taxed at £330?
Yes exactly
Sir what is the maximum mileage of this beauty
Maximum mileage? It's on 17500 miles as of today.
Fuel costs. I’m coming from a w204 c63. It can’t get worse than than hahahah
Lol no it will feel like a diesel economy compared to that 6.2 V8!
What’s the cabin noise like is it too loud ?
Just right mate
Ya gotta pay to play! Lol
Lot of fun though.....just dont look at the fuel gauge!
@@DownShiftThrottle I’d an M140i and never minded either fuelling or servicing it... Worth every penny!
M140i is a better daily overall. I feel I want one again.
@@DownShiftThrottle I’d mine mapped to 415bhp and test drove an M4 and couldn’t bring myself to paying the money for one, so bought a 320d MSport, like yours, instead!
Hahahaha.....go on mate! A mapped M140i is pretty quick. 320d Msport rules!
Battery costs 1800$
If you got to work out insurance tax running cost tyres etc you should not buy a sports bm and if your working out and thinking buy don't as your pushing your budget and it's probably out of your league. Pilot sport are about 200 a tyre not for the working out budget type of guy
Unless you have an extended warranty. If you own a BMW it stands for break my wallet
Not in my experience, buy used cars wisely and factor for the potential big maintenance costs and it’ll be good for another 70k of sublime driving.
Driving a bmw is more about the experience than anything else, a true drivers car even in the modern guise👍🏼
My 330d at coming up to 7 years old has only cost me a set of brake discs plus pads, and a set of tyres! It's been so reliable that I feel bad about thinking of getting an M4 to use post winter!
Stick with it. If it ain't broke dont replace it
How can you compare an M car to a 320d 😂😂😂😂 joker
Because I had both at the time and could compare the costs for those making the jump from a 320d to a M3 or M4.
