This qualifying session is actually the closest Vettel ever came to a WC with Ferrari. Mercedes where starting to make mistakes and he started to take advantage of them until his mistake in the race.
bottas's final sector in q3 was incredible. Pulled back a quarter of a second on vettel. Vettel was 0.453 up at the end of the middle sector and by the end of the lap Vettel was only ahead by 0.212
