The point about personal liberty being the moral ideal and the example of giving space in relationships is sooo accurate. I never knew how to articulate that before, but you did it perfectly. 👏🏽👏🏽
It sounded more like an ESxP until the passive aggressive part. Also it makes sense now how you'll see many professional fighters with this placement, despite a lot of modern interpretation leaning towards it being very "docile"
Vic, you have exceeded my expectations yet again. Hit the nail on the head with every explanation of Mar’s clash with Libra and also the harmony with freedom! My Mars in the 10th gets the strongest aspect from Rahu following Jupiter.
Vic, I recently ordered a report from you and I need to tell you that it has been the most accurate I've seen. There were some very specific things that nobody yet has ever quite been able to describe with as much precision. Thank you!! Related to this video: I've got Mars in Aries conjunct Venus and S. Node with the N. Node over in Libra and I can relate to much of this. The venus/mars/libra/aries combo is definitely challenging in my experience. I've been trying to have a traditional sort of relationship in life and I'm coming to the realization that it would probably be better for all concerned if I just dispense with that idea altogether and make that known up front. Thank you!
"They try to stabilize themselves through destabilizing things"😐. Very true🙏🏿. Wow. Yes. I get this on so many levels. The passive aggressive nature you spoke of is likened to the "Dynasty" standoffs between Alexis (Joan Collins)and Monique (Dihanne Carol also has Mars in Libra). Add to this the Downton Abbey's Maggie Smith(Mars in Libra too) against EVERYONE I.e. cutting (Mars) words(air) veiled in politeness and niceties. A "nasty/nice" situation. Or "nice/nasty" playoff with words. When I meet up with another Mars in Lib, there is always back/forth backhanded compliments and veiled insults. The more they (Mars in Lib) likes someone, the more "nasty/nice" they'll be. It's law☝🏿 Watched the movie "The Mirror Crack'd" with Elizabeth Taylor and Kim Novak standoffs. Many "Mars in Libra" things said there 😂
I have Mars in Libra in 12th house. Quite accurate, as I have difficulty with sticking to one career and also quite passive aggressive in conflict situations. , Would you also say that Mars in Libra can make a person sexually attractive or beautiful. Since there is an imbalance of Inception and Equality, therefore having high desires may make them seem more desirable too.
Thank goodness this gets better with age! So long as you learn from your mistakes, all is good. Before I discovered Vedic astrology, I spent many hours delving into psychology re the empathy part. I was genuinely concerned that I was at least displaying some psychopathic tendencies but that also never fit because I knew (I felt) a deep level of concern and empathy for others feelings, almost too much. I was just very uncomfortable actually displaying it. Still am to an extent but I’m much better than I was. That said, I’m very good at mentally “switching” off if need be, provided I have a fair and just reason to do so. People don’t like this but when if/when something has gotten to that point, that’s none of my concern.
Am always thinking in terms of team work and every time am asking what other people think because i love to serve others.so i dont think so..in every team actions my friends said to me to talk about my need in the activity because every time.am the only one who ask the others what they need
i know Mars is debilitated in Libra, but there's some pretty dynamic people with this placement. i think NBA legend Kobe Bryant had this placement. along with MMA fighting champion Fedor Emelianenko. author Sam Harris also.
Libra mars conjunct saturn in 3rd here..as usual vic expresses definition of personal liberty so well as if he is me in some respects. Exactly! Excellent analysis :), not only because Saturn goes to Libra where he knows how to handle the qualities of the sign but also because Mars goes to his home in Aries in many cases. A good Saturn also helps (in Withney Aquarius). Other brief observations I made: Mars is in many cases in the 3rd Drekkana of Saturn and close to the degree of exaltation of Saturn, especially when the chart is influenced by Saturn. Something important is the role of the Moon as a Luminary and benefic in giving great power to the planet that aspects or participates in the diposition (especially with Mars because it eliminates its weakness, which comes from Cancer): Anderson (Aries), Gates (Aries), Jenner (Scorpio), Houston (Aries), O Connor (Libra). Chopra (trine). In Houston you can see his addiction to substances by the aspects of Mars and Saturn to Moon in house 2, from 8 and 12. Another interesting case of Mars in Libra in House 4 is the exile of the Dalai Lama from the land of his origin and his incessant search for Peace and restitution of the lost land.
also Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, author of Don Quixote de la Mancha (incarnation of Mars in Libra as a soldier fighting against the windmills). With Mars in Libra in Hasta (hand), nicknamed "the one-armed" because of the wound he suffered in his hand in the Lepanto war. He too was "the prince of wits" because of his imagination applied to literature and to his failed attempts to escape from the Turks. Being a brave warrior (Sun Mars in Libra) and great writer Mercury in Libra, everything opposite to a powerful full moon in Aries. However, we have 3 cases of great men who fought and were defeated and imprisoned by Mars in Libra: Cervantes, Mandela, Dalai Lama ...
8:41 hmmm... I don't know about that. Perhaps it's my rising sign, but I'm too empathic. I had to learn ( the hard way) to not be so trusting, and giving. I used to believe everyone was "good" , and I could take them by face value. I'm very giving ,and I love harmony. Although I love to debate. Hehehe. I'm quicker to get angry in the defense of someone else ,than for myself. However, I look for fairness in ALL my relationship. I have mars in swati in 2nd house, no idea what this means, but I'm trying to learn . This video was very informative. The part about relationships was spot on.
Oh, even though I have Mars is Libra I was not able to resonate with most of the descriptions...so I 'm thinking it could be my Venus and Moon and Ascendant in that sign that cause the interference...I've had such a hard time asserting myself for the most part, always trying to reach an agreement, always in fear of displeasing or hurting the other person in even subtle ways...ay ay ay, my poor Mars! Yet I am definitely very motivated by the Arts, the beauty in nature, relationships in general - but only one romantic relationship in my entire life - now for 11 years - so maybe my sun and other placements in Scorpio help to make me more fixed? It's so cool to see how the initial placement can be modified by other factors in the chart, which Vic always mentions! And it was delightful to see there were such interesting people with this Mars! Another fascinating video! Great explanations of their charts!!!
Which part isn't resonating then? If you have a hard time asserting yourself, thats exactly what I said in the video. And if you are overly dependent on other people (fear of displeasing them) that is also what i said.
@@VicDiCaraAstrology Oh Vic, sorry for the somewhat annoying comment. I don't mean to invalidate any part of your video, but merely to offer my own experience just in case it might be useful to anyone. But please know I admire your work greatly, as normally my comments reveal. I guess I did not express myself very well earlier. What I did not resonate with was the aspect of being unsympathetic or callous towards others, or putting oneself first, since it has been a great dilemma for me being too sympathetic and always trying to take into account others needs much more than my own, and being unable to set proper boundaries, with friends for instance. Only now, with the help of Astrology am I learning to assert myself a bit better. In terms of dependence, it seems to work (in my case) in terms of only wanting to be close as long as the other person feels comfortable or happy, but otherwise I can remove myself with relative ease - even if it hurts, if I notice that the other is somehow suffering. One could say it's about interdependence, since I consistently strive to pull my own weight, or to give equally (or more if I can.) The unpredictably strong desires was also something I did not resonate with, or a big appetite for money - relationships are what motivate me the most in life -with friends, family members, my partner, and so I put most of my energy into that (and also studying the things I like: Astrology, Philosophy, etc. It may be because of my upbringing, but money always seemed to have a very low motivating factor for me, and it is still the case - many have accused me of a lack of ambition, and too much head in the clouds, too idealistic, etc. As well as the part about the propensity to wander seemed a bit off for me, as I tend to be quite fixed in important ways, ie: I was studying the same subject in school for 8 years, both Bachelor and Masters in the same School - have lived in the same place with the same person for 11 years. I don't even like travelling that much to be honest - just very specific locations and quite sporadically. And the significant part about all that, I guess, is that I really enjoy it...it gives me pleasure to keep pursuing the same thing but try to take it to a deeper level. "To see with new eyes" so to speak. I hope that makes a bit more sense - it's just based on my own experience of this placement. But I still enjoyed the video, and will definitely keep your explanations in mind as a trusted reference point. Thank you always for the thoughtfulness and excellence you put into your work! @@vedamaster7253 :) Well, this is just my own experience, which I felt comfortable expressing because of knowing Vic for some time and because he is a trusted teacher!
ahhhh finally. a comprehensive explanation. sidereal libra mars, tropical scorpio mars. thank you for this. trying to find ways to work past my resistance.
Most important thing in ones chart are the aspects What if i have a theoreticaly good mars for example in aries and its hammerd by squares like pluto or Saturn or other difficult squares
I do not find that looking out for what i feel and what i want does not fit me i always do and make rhings happen for other people. I have five plants in the fifth house in libra. I have sun, jupiter, mars, mercury, neptune . Mercury is in my fifth house but its 29 degrees virgo and my moon is in pieces in the tenth house and saturn is in my sixth house in Sagittarius. So i do have inner turmoil between what i want and what somebody else needs and what somebody else needs always wins out. But i have been getting better at boundaries and saying no and doing what i want....but i feel guilty for it
I have Mars in Libra, and this could not be more opposite to me, minus the part about valuing my individuality over groups & groupthink. If anything, I've been both accused and praised for being very direct (not passive aggressive), especially sensitive (not lacking in this at all), and deeply empathic. This and my Sun and Venus placement alone make me realize that astrology is highly flawed. And yes, I know the houses and aspects of these placements.
Exactly opposite for me as well. I would suggest you apply this information to your own experience astrology is not a "bounderied" science, sometimes you have to flip it the other way around. You could be the oversensitive one and most people being oblivious to your needs in relationships. You could have experienced difficult relationships with very sick martian partners who were the ones being insensitive, taking you for granted, being oversexual with you, and going after your money - overt or even covert narcissists ! Also we need to come to terms with that fact that a single placement cannot explain it all. For instance, I have Mars in Libra, but I also have Venus in Libra which puts me on the empathic spectrum facing strife in my relationships regardless of however loving, present and comprehensive, it always ends up in warfare ! Interestingly enough, that helped me grow into my own individuality and self-reliance. This Mars' apparent insensitivity and overintellectualization actually taught me to hold boundaries and helped me survive hardships that cannot be named, from surviving a war (as in actual war) to warfare in family, relations, work... If I had had to go through all that crap without the detachment provided by this Mars, I would simply had been crushed. No, astrology is not flawed, but we humans are. Our understanding is limited. Let's not jump to conclusions and keep learning 🙂 Wishing you the best with this placement 🙏
What do you think about a Mars in Libra in the 11th house in opposition to Jupiter in Aries in the 5th house? Would Jupiter in Aries know how to make the most of the energy of Mars in detriment?
I have a question: What happens to the Mars in Libra people, and especially the natives born in 1982 who have Mars, Pluto, and Saturn conjunct in Libra when Neptune and Saturn move into Aries?
Personally this placement in my chart in the 4th house is the compassionate and destroyer. My vedic moon is in cancer. My home is my safety. A situation arises I see all sides of the story, or investigate all sides of story. The emotions of ppl enter spleen. I have to find clarity. The conflict continues. At some point, I am propelled into the role of the prosecutor. I hate that part but have accepted it as the process. At the end I am the judge, I slam the gavell and walk out cold. I rest my case and sleep for at least 10 hours from exhaustion. No one likes me. They do not understand the effort as they sit in a silent scorched battlefield with the moon lightning the absolute devastation like a nuclear bomb. If look at other ppl with this aspect you will see what I'm saying. Krishna says the enemy is already in my mouth. Whatever I did in past life it a hard aspect
In a vacuum, would you say Mars in Libra is worse than Mars in Cancer and Mars in Taurus? Even though those are supposed to be the worst signs this almost sounds worse lol

Whatever I did in past life it a hard aspect
In a vacuum, would you say Mars in Libra is worse than Mars in Cancer and Mars in Taurus? Even though those are supposed to be the worst signs this almost sounds worse lol
How we should interpret Mars in Libra with it's 4th aspect on Capricorn ( Exaltation sign of Mars)?
if mars is libra in tropical but in Leo in sidereal will this still apply?
Hey Vic, just curious what is your Myers Brigs personality type. I am an INTP.
Probably the same, I found him relatable and I'm also an intp, he must be either INTP or INTJ.
@@possessorofgreatness7620 I would also bet he is INTP. Genius but not really out there in the open. Happy with being true to himself and don't crave for limelight.
He also feels spiritually advanced in a Saturnian way. More of Gyana Yoga type person.
Is mars in libra good for lawyers?
What about Art?
Hello Vic, when you do the personalized reading do you advise on things like Mars in Libra and how to improve/remedy and take corrective action for maligfic planets?
Wow..I didnt know it was such a bad placement
you mention in passing that Mars in Libra means it's opposite Aries and how that's a plus. Why is this good for Aries? Doesn't it mean an opposition between Mars and whatever planets are in Aries?
I'm an infj and have this placement lol
Having also Venus in Libra will support Mars?
What if Mars in Libra is in retrograde?
How do I know what Mars in Libra I am?
I dont understand how these people have Mars in Libra when in vedic natal planets must go 23 degree backwards and AC is not the same, just dont know anymore how to calculate my chart
Vedic is not Sidereal. Use of sidereal zodiac is a widespread mistake. Please see vicdicara.com/tropical

I have mars in Swati nakshatra. I love marshall arts and 3D arts. I'm really into all 3D mechanics and programs. I would definitely practice marshall arts if I were physically stronger.
MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko has this placement.
