È sconvolgente come Woody Allen riesca ancora a fare film intelligenti, ironici, deliziosi. Rimane un mito e uno dei registi più iconici di Hollywood. 👋👋👋👋👋
THANK YOU!!!! Yet again, fantastic interview, and thanks for the detailed backstory! Not only is this a great interview, it's from the Hannah/Radio Days era. Love your channel, happy subscriber, never know what's going to come up next. THANKS!
I like the character he portrayed in his early films from Take the Money and Run through Sleeper , Annie Hall and Manhattan. Basically he played the same hilarious neurotic guy in all those films. After that there were a few good ones like Midnight in Paris and Crimes and Misdemeanors.Old films like Bringing up Baby, My Favorite Wife, and the Awful Truth are funnier and better than anything Woody Allen ever did.
Excellent exchange I hope you are the same man that made this interview that also posted it all these years later online I will pray for America. Please pray for me. God Bless you.
Hi Ryan, Thanks for the comments. Yes, I did the interview with Woody in his edit suite in Manhattan "way back" in the 80's but only in recent years got around to posting this and a number of other interviews (now 80) on UA-cam. Cheers, John.
@@johnhanrahansmoviestarintervie Thank you! Your work is professional and natural and intelligent. Thank you for posting it and enriching us with your insights into interesting people. Would you ever combine footage or audio from several interviews to make a documentary or podcast series that has a unifying theme derived from your works? Would you make a documentary about your career using your interview segments as examples of your progress as a intermediary between the stars and the public? I have made a couple documentaries in my day, and I have LOTS of footage I hope to boil down into more digestible chunks when I have the time. The work is work, and when I do it, it is good to get it done FINALLY!
He could get away with his pretentious comments back in 1986, when his work was stellar. His last twenty films have been worse than most of the big-hollywood era films he criticizes.
Thank you for sharing this conversation on UA-cam. It is appreciated!
