To say the least, I am extremely impressed with what esbc has been working on. I don't mind them taken their time to perfect the game.
Lots of improvements in this video. Punches look much better. The defensive moves are the best of any video game!

MMA fans will still play UFC 4. I don't think this game will affect EA that much, at least not to a level that will force them to improve their shitty UFC games.

Just hope that they capture some the speed and reflexes of the elite fighters as best as you can in a game.. there is a huge difference from top tier to A fighters just seems a lil sluggish.. looks amazing though

I think alot of that speed and reflexes has to do with timing. You gotta time it right to get the burst of speed.

I appreciate what the Devs have done so far . However I think the punch animations need more work . In their defence maybe there's a difference between the light and hard punches perhaps?

aw man I'm bummed we don't get to play this summer as this is the only game I'm really looking forward to and has me excited, but I do support them taking the time needed to make this game as polished and complete as possible. Really stoked to see new footage of this game and while some of the punches still look a bit iffy I'm excited to know that we can have a full custom moveset picking each type of punch for our own fighter. Really can't wait to get my hands on it and trying to master the game!
Punches need a little more work (they look a bit slow and unnatural), the camera angles need to be tightened up, and the character models need polishing.
Otherwise, this is enough to tide me over until the clinch update. Good job, Steel City.

I really don’t care what other people think….haters gonna hate….I am just super impressed with the improvements they’ve made! The movement is so fluid, the punching is definitely improved, love the looks of the defensive side of things (dodging, weaving, slipping, etc.), just all around great improvements!! Sorry folks….Fight Night is a thing of the past! This is how a boxing game should look like, and will be the only true simulation boxing game around! Great work ESBC….take your time and I’ll be ready when you guys are ready to give us your perfected and polished masterpiece! Hate all you want people….you aren’t changing my mind on this game! This shit looks Absolutely fire i can not wait 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The punch buttons are the same as FNC so alot you guys who spam step counters and have no combos and no offence are in BIG trouble. combo pressure fighters on FNC will have a huge advantage come day 1. Theres few things im wanting to know though. Can you stop the camera from completely zooming in when fighters are close. Is the block unbreakable or do shots leak through. Can you move and block and if your opponent holds the lean back button does that mean stupidly like on fnc your fighter punches cant reach their head

They went pretty in depth on how things work. These are very in depth evasion and blocking controls, and stance variation. Maybe they will cover clinches later on.

My dream game is where it’s a mixture of FNC & GTA, where you get to live the life of a fighter buying cars, can gamble in casinos, fight in clubs GTA style and hit the gym and how you live outside the ring dictates your success inside the ring. You can end up in the paper for your wins or arrest, party or practice….I hope you get my vision but that’s what I’d like to play… you can live life up to your scheduled fight and build XP or skip right to the fight and get default XP, and it gotta have the Cut Man game between rounds…. And Mills Lane is one of the refs…”Let’s get it on!!!”

The only improvement they could make, is the camera angle but I’m sure we’ll probably get a lot more angles to choose from so I’m not too worried about that

Add a young Tyson to unlock and the Mike Tyson that lost 3 fights. Holyfield, Foreman, Buster Douglas. I would love that. Fight Night had a good roster but there were missing boxers. This game would be legendary if y’all can pull that off.

I agree game looks really good but I think punches still need to be worked on some more. They need more fluidity and we should be able to pull off quicker combos. It is alpha so I kno it’s not final but I hope to see fast punching fighters like loma, Macho Camacho, pacquiao if he’s in be able to pull of sick fast combo flurries. That would be great to finally see in a boxing game!

People will disagree but the punches look ass the jabs just don’t look powerful it’s like he’s just sticking out his hand , I also don’t like how it goes white when u hit a shot I hope there’s a setting where u can turn that off I also don’t like how the cameras zoom in hopefully they have different camera angles
Hope to have a lot of different game option sliders make different types of fights when of line .or a decrease within punch being thrown from highest weight class #stamina although EA Sports had like 10 different types of ai the sliders where there.
Sort the shoulders out as they all look similar when throwing shots.
If they can master Joe Frazier's hook and his unique head movement. I will be so happy!
Imagine using mike Tyson and pressing up on the D pad. He probably goes into the peek a boo slipping back and forth with feints

Boxingfanatico, I know they've talked about flash knockdowns, and knock outs but how do you think they will handle stoppages? Imo most fights that don't go the distance end with a stoppage.
I like the graphics and everything they showed, control wise. I understand that its still not done, but a lot of those punches look weird and odd.

*This info needs to get back to the developers* They either need to remove semi-autoblock, or make it to where in online matchmaking only those who use semi-autiblock can be matched with other players who use that crutch. It makes no sense for a top player who is all manual to struggle against a top player who uses computer assistance. Envision a player who just beat you, trash-talking you because he beat you, but he had computer assistance to block your shots when you were using your own reflexes to defend his punches. Please alert them. They just need to make a simulation mode and arcade mode if they decide to keep it in the game.
I don't see it being a problem to be honest, semi-auto allows for you to press up on the right stick to block head and down to block body...... Manual allows u to do the same thing but also add more control by blocking left and right sides for top and bottom. At this point there isn't an advantage to left and right blocking but there will be in the future. Regardless, u as a manual blocker do not have to block the sides and can just do up/down just like a semi-auto fighter, but the semi auto fighter does not have access to left and right blocking at all
@@BoxingFanatico But there is quite a difference between my throwing a punch to the right side of your body, and if one mistakenly blocks the left side, they get hit. Whereas with semi-auti block it would block my punch, right? I just want everyone to have to have to out-think their opponent without extra help. But semi-auto is much better than auto, so I can live with it. But I just imagine full simulation being better. We'll see. I like what they're doing with the game.
@@GuerillaGrip01 it won’t be auto block it will be semi auto…. They still have to press down and up to block head and body…. A manual blocker can press down and up as well and full block head and body…. We will just have the added left and right if we want to use it by pressing up and to the right or up and to the left (vice versa for body) so we will never be at a disadvantage…. We just have more tools then they do
