Not going to lie, my dad was wanting me to start looking for charters to fish with in Venice and in previous years we fished with Capt Eddie, but since starting to watch your channel in the past 6 months or so, I was starting to look at Louisiana Bluewater for a trip for my brother, dad, and myself to come fish with you.

I have been a barber for 13 years and fishing my whole life but watching a lot of your videos for a while now and you have inspired me to change my career to become a captain one day. I just got a job for rookie deck hand on dry Tortuga trips on Gulfstars new 85 ft party boat fishing middle grounds deep drops and pulley ridge. Time for me to put in work but thanks for your videos

Joe, Congratulations!!!! Brother I have been with you since the beginning of this wacky UA-cam thingy and I'm not about to jump ship now,...oh wait, I am about to jump ship, to the Seacario!!! I spent a large chunk of my life working in Television Broadcasting in various positions and with several different companies and networks, I get that moving on can be rough, but always go with your gut and the rest generally will fall into place. Keep in touch with your friends but never look back or catch the "shoulda coulda's". You are going to be happier and just as importantly, you will be back on course with what you have always wanted to do, other than Football!! I have fished Venice and Grand Isle a good bit you will have the best of both worlds, having been in the charter buisness for years in the Tampa Clearwater area I understand you will not have much time for filming and content creation and that is our loss you do great videos and I wish you the best with the new people !

Congratulations, I always loved your videos especially back in the Jacksonville days watching you catch giant Gags and huge Mangoes off the East coast. I believe my favorite is also grouper and snapper fishing, used to slay the gags from the middle grounds to 5 miles off Dunedin. The west coast has so many gags, many small but if your a good captain you can catch plenty of large gags off the west coast!!!

Spent many years of my life, fishing on a head-boat called the Captain Stacey III and IV out of Morehead City when the IV boat was brand spankin' new. I loved bottom-fishing and throwin' up in a 5gal bucket back in the 70's and 80's 🤣 Good luck on your boat!! 😎👍

What's the best time of the year to go out on capt Stacy?
@@j_rainsgoat3929 We always went out twice in early May for the Red Snapper and Grouper and then went twice in early November for Silver Snapper. Nice warm weather even in November, once ya get out in the Gulf-Stream. My saving grace back in the early 80's was when they came out with those motion-sickness patches that went behind your ear.

Got a fishing trip with gulf of America in march with Martha. Might see you around
I'm near Galveston and blue water is a 4 hr ride. My smaller boat is a bay boat anyway, chasing trout, reds & flounder.
Galveston Bay complex is huge, Galveston bay, Trinity Bay, East & West Bay. then there is the ship channel jetties, north & south are prime locations as well.
There are tarpon near shore but need a guide to really put you on them.
