- OLD SCHOOL STUFFED FRENCH TOAST WITH CREAM CHEESE AND ORANGE MARMALADE
I absolutely love french toast
This is my simple recipe for nice french toast with a fancy twist to it
The flavor and texture content in this dish is amazing
RECIPE:
3 whole eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup orange marmalade
1 cup cream cheese
4 slices thick sliced white bread ( Texas toast ) or sliced brioche
Mix all ingredients together in bowl
Spread cream cheese on both sides of bread
Spread marmalade on one side of the cream cheese
Place slices together and
Soak bread in mixture until fully coated with mixture
Cooking on hot griddle on both sides until golden brown
Eat with powder sugar,butter and syrup

I'm going to make some, freeze them & use the air fryer method for my 12 years old g'son & his dad's freezer as well as my own. When we get the chance I'll have him over for a g'som & me weekend & teach him the recipe. He can add the recipe to his growing recipes collection! He's been making weekend brunches for he & his dad ever since I gave him a stuffed waffle maker appliance! 😁 Happy cookin' & even better eatin' all!

Let me tell you this was by far the best French toast we have ever eaten. This recipe is off the chain. This is the only way I'm going to eat French toast from now on.
