I have no words! Your work fascinates me. The colour play is magnificent. Your use of form: line and circle and back to lines with more circles, remind me of a dance. You have developed a truly unique style.
Ohhh, whoawww, love it. As an artist myself, let me tell you, you have an excellent use of color and texture, that's no easy to do. Could you please tell me which materials do you use, I want to try this technique!!
+Juan Pablo Forero Hi there - thank of the comments - this work is completed with Encaustic Medium - a mix of wax and resin. R and F paints has a very informative website - I also sell a instructional video which is available on my website Http://www.elizabethschowachert.com
+Rianne Stenhuis Thank you very much. I do not use shellac. I use pigment sticks. I have an instructional video that teaches the techniques used in this video www.elizabethschowachert.com
I used a combination of clear and white medium. I also used alizarin orange pigment stick on top of the white, which is a more translucent pigment stick.
music was great. original, complemented the flow of the video well. I guess she has not figured the volume button out yet... Your video was very inspiring. I am fascinated with your building of depth, which the video does not do your work justice. Your work must be intense to view in person. your website is A++ BTW

can you tell me what brushes you use, thank you
I use Hake brushes - i will be adding a couple of sizes to my online art supplies store soon! These are the type I prefer for working with encaustic.
Could you tell me what that clear medium is?
Sorry I missed your note - the clear medium is encaustic medium which is a mixture of pure beeswax and damar resin.
