He was also present at a packed Cardiff Stadium when, to his surprise, the Towers version of his music was played as the theme for the grand final. Happily, it augered well and his team won.

Maybe Hans Zimmer created this version with the added choir and orchestra, but the original piece was written by Mansell and composed by the Kronos Quartet for Requiem For a Dream.
this is actually from Requiem by Heir Mozart. it was remixed for requiem for a dream then this. i strongly suggest taking the 60 mins. out of your life and listening to Mozarts requiem.
Lux aeterna is a part of the traditional catholic requiem, its just the text that is called that way and over the centuries there have been many compositions for the lyrics. (and yeah i don't have anything better to do than correcting a three year old comment under an overused soundtrack)
