No matter how the final product ends up, good, bad or ugly. People can’t deny that this was made with attention to detail and love by people who actually care about the source material.
And also Oda, the manga creator also involved.
After seeing what they had to say, I can tell that they genuinely care about the source material and really love it
Bruh after it’s been stated and oda being there this is what sold you that they are going by source material
Pls stop
The live-action is definitely shaping up to be the perfect way for new fans to get into the series.
This was great
This is going to be the Best live action anime in Netflix history and its amazing how the legacy of one piece lives on to this day.
Tbf it’s a low bar to be the best live action anime - but yes I’m excited for this the marketing for this first season did a wonderful job at reassuring fans of the source material
@@saroojanvasanthakumar1510it's OP so
The anime isnt accurate to the manga, I hope they mostly take from the manga, in fact pure manga.
I can't wait to watch this love the video Bunny girl Nation stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
You should make some reaction for one piece opening it will be great
Yay. Im so glad that you fell in love just because of Clips.
For me, as long as it has the heart of one piece, it is enough.
I can't wait 😍🫷
Seems like they changed a little bit of the story, or rather connected some things so that it would fit within the 8 episodes a little bit better. I'm okay with that as long as the base narrative isn't changed.
From what I've seen they are changing some things from the Syrup village arc (but i'm pretty sure it more or less has the same "basic" plot from the manga) and so far.....I like what I see .
This gonna be great ❤
Honestly it’s been so long since I last saw the first few arcs of One Piece that this live action might as well be like first time watching them again.
I have a Hunch
That they are already doing Season 2
Sorry to say that it's unlikely because of the writer and actor strike, everything has been postponed. At most, some of the writers might have been independently writing potential adaptation of the next saga (Alabasta) for season 2. But as a whole, everything has been stopped but I would say that it's highly likely to be greenlight for a new season just for the sheer positive reviews it has gotten so far.
i just realized that it only 1 week away. '_'
me will be ok if the actors can only follow 60% on the original character but it's different story if they can't do justice to Going Merry , because that ship is their home (damn ... now me feel sad again).
Ima be honest before they showed this I was like it looks ok. Now it looks like another terrible Netflix live action anime. Didn’t luffy was Indian but ok. The VFX looked meh. The wire work doesn’t look good at all. Tbh anime/manga is just hard to get across in live action. They have more time to let the story flesh out in the manga/anime. Something America doesn’t have time or money to waste on live action. I can almost guarantee this will be trash just by what they put out here.
Well, that's pretty much the opposite of what I've been getting from it.
BTW, according to Oda, he envisioned Luffy as being South American. His actor is Mexican, not Indian.
@@flaminyawn my mistake Mexican but either way when they drew him he looks anything but South American. That being said I’m glad you hardcore fans are happy about this but y’all have way to much confidence in Netflix. Lol just remember this comment so I don’t have to say I told you so.
@@JBurnz001 It's not about Netflix but the fact that some of the cast and crew are longtime One Piece fans themselves - especially the showrunner Matt Owens and Emily Rudd who's playing Nami. And as you saw in this vid Mackenyu has grown up with the show too and we know Oda, the creator himself has said they won't release it until he's satsified with the show. That being said it might not look perfect still there's still problems with it due to the nature of the anime itself and the difference in mediums it's almost impossible to create a PERFECT live action. But we can appreciate the effort they put into it they built the sets and ships from scratch and the CGI doesn't look that bad we've seen worse. Overall I'd say I'm hopeful I think it's gonna be better than previous anime live actions but probably not the best TV series in general that's fine tho for me it has to be fun and entertaining I'm fine as long as there's respect for the source material and I really don't think it'll be total trash
@@JBurnz001
It's not about faith in Netflix. They've produced some things I liked, and they've produced things I didn't like. That element is irrelevant to me.
And if, despite the good impression I've gotten, it doesn't turn out great, then the manga still exists. I'll have lost nothing.
ODA did a sbs on what nationalities the straw hats would be & that is: Luffy - Brazilian, Zoro - Japanese, Nami - Swedish, Usopp from Africa & Sanji - French, also don't judge before you actually watch it but then again I doubt you will since you're clearly not a fan & just want to hate for the sake of hating
