@@QueenBee-mk8xm Hello, the only example I could find where Connie interviewed Barbara Eden was on 20/20. I think the interview was very light-hearted and complimentary to Ms. Eden. When did you feel Connie was being mean to her, or was it behind the scenes, or a different interview? The only time Connie did anything sneaky was with Newt Gingrich's mother, but that was a small infraction, IMHO.
Thanks for posting this. When I Look back on the times I watched Letterman, this episode is a fond memory for me. I think they were really sweet together and Connie really cares for Dave. When I see her husband, I always call him Murry cuz Dave did. Cracks me up. BTW, I was In Philly 30th St Station years ago and saw Maury carrying a set of golf clubs....
She and Maury were just telling Andy Cohen that David was obviously in love with Connie, but they conveniently neglected to mention how Connie was very flirty with him, as is obvious here when she gave David a super long hug. :)
It's Maury, dammit!!! Lol. He was just telling Andy Cohen how David Letterman never got his name right on purpose because he was in love with Connie and was jealous of him.
Show Anne Curry saying goodbye on The Today Schmoe. I cannot BELIEVE how they screwed her over, and I know it’s a don’t-tell severance, but it had better damn well be the best EVER!!!!!!!
A bit obsessive/compulsive, Mr. Letterman is. Led him to shagging the staff member, to eating once a a day and jogging every morning to stay paper thin, and checking the née for every passing symptom he has….but we love the guy. GOAT of talk show hosts….
Connie is and always has been, a very charming and pleasant person. Murray is a very lucky man.
Not really. She was absolutely horrible to Barbara Eden.

@@PeaceCommando I will try to find the link and post it here. It was truly cold and heartless.

@@QueenBee-mk8xm Wow. I am curious to see that, but only as a novelty. I adore Barbara Eden, but hope it doesn't shatter my opinion of Connie.
Gorgeous, articulate,spontaneous, joyful!
And Connie wasn’t half bad herself!
A linguistic and pronunciation expert declared Connie Chung as THE prime example of an English enunciator way back whenever. Chew on that.
My god man! she looks like a fantasy dream! Her beauty is hard to believe!....
???😳???
Connie was so pretty and had such good chemistry with Dave.
Connie is a Living Legend ! 😊👌✊👍👊🍁♈
She is Lovely
Connie in her prime.

A song by the Gap Band and this line comes to mind "you keep me running in and out of my life."
Connie was so hot
Yes🙏🙏
Yikes! Apparently you guys have never seen some really good looking Chinese women!
@williamanthony9090 she actually looks more korean than chinese
Teri Garr and Connie Chung. Heavenly......
Dave years later left for CBS also.....after Connie did. Both got their own shows.
Both now off CBS...doing other things.
I heart her!
I've had a crush on her forever.
Yet within four years, David would switch networks.
She was already 42 or 43 at this time.. Can't imagine what she was like in the 70s. Dave would be at CBS 3 years later.
intelligent, well spoken women like her is a rarity these days.
You don’t know enough women. Quit spending so much time on social media.
With femininity combined.
He didn’t know Howard Stringer at the time of this episode, but they’ll be buddy buddy in 1992-93
That was just Letterman's unique sense of humor - the whole Connie Chung love thing was just a gag - he'd bring it up all the time.
Less than 4 years before Dan starts to "sweat"
Mark Kuznitz gets an on-air mention!
I feel like the underline music is what Family Guy parodied with the Peter’s tie moment
Show Anne Curry saying goodbye on The Today Schmoe. I cannot BELIEVE how they screwed her over, and I know it’s a don’t-tell severance, but it had better damn well be the best EVER!!!!!!!
Why didnt Dave say thank you when a guest gave him a gift
After 30 years of daily use, that jug of Joan Collins is at about 2/3 full.
Something's going on.
What a lucky bastard Povich is. Makes a great living off of dumbass television and gets to eat Chinese without leaving the house whenever he wants!
Murry...YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER!!!
She could really deliver the news and was super pretty but just became odder and odder over the years.

David was way too big for her...not a physical match
Ah...he and her husband Maury Povich are the same height... 6ft 1 inch....
