- Hi friends sorry for the slight absence, excited to get back into it again especially with all this new content from the Alien chapter. This build on Xenomorph is actually very strong though, possibly the best. The title was mostly a meme but it kind of holds true at the same time LMAO, enjoy.

I feel his terror radius is irrelevant because survivors are going to have turrets near them, and they basically work like a 2nd terror radius
and the other three perks are just gen slowdown perks... i can't tell if this video is supposed to be sarcastic

It’s not that simple though, sure turrets help but it’s not like the radius is that big unless you’re stacking multiple turrets. You can still close in enough for a free hit a good portion of the time from my experience. Plus it can catch them off guard moving around the map when they’re not on a gem with a turret protecting them. I think monitor is solid on alien

I think BBQ is really good with Alien, like Dredge you can quickly cross the map and get into the next chase after a hook. I have been running BBQ, Pop, Lethal Pursuer, and pain res with a lot of success. Thanks for the vid tofu!
You should try bbq, pop, discordance, and dissolution that’s what I’ve been running and it’s nice having so much information with discordance. I know exactly when I drop chase. Dissolution could be switched out for something but I’ve noticed with dissolution survivors like to avoid vaulting safe pallets which in turn gives me a feee down. This killer is so much fun

I think Lethal pursuer is kind of redundant. He has strong information built into tunnel ability. You can hear the generators being repaired as well.
It does pair well with BBQ though so maybe it’s worth it. Just my thoughts
Another build I had alot of success with is pain res, dead man's switch, rapid brutality, and ultimate weapon, basically making gens harder to do with the constant screaming and ultimate weapon will apply blindness which will stop windows of opportunity and mess up survivors using it, which for me has been alot, overall very constant to a scary degree
You can replace rapid brutality with something else, but for me it helps with chase to get faster downs

They're definitely gonna add a cooldown on xeno going into the tunnels. We all know behavior loves giving killers unnecessary cooldowns.

@@AVXY10010 no how fast he gets his passive isn't a issue without it he's trash it's just the movement speed while recovering that's strong the teleports and everything else are balanced especially with the hotboxes on the turrets being so small
@@jfoster8624they are literally stationary and are about the same size as survivors both in diameter AND height, just don’t aim at the turret itself, aim above it
Played Alien after awhile and slowly started to get better. I was like I’ll play one game of nemi for a challenge and literally as soon as I start playing nemi I instantly just start destroying the survivors with my tentacle whip. So, I honestly think aliens tail is helping me even more with nemesis as well. I know there completely different hitbox’s but for some reason alien hitbox is helping me be better with nemesis.
I was playing Hitchhiker in TCM all last week and when I came back to DbD I had a lot more success with trapper trap placement, never know how much a fresh perspective can help
I think Alien's hitbox you need to be way more precise to hit de survivors, so learning Alien's makes easier aiming using Nemesis whip
I feel like as long as a killer can't literally teleport like nurse bhvr thinks they can never be overtuned, I remember when they nerfed pyramid head because he could pressure an m1 and m2 at the same time on every vault but thats literally this killer.
His tail has a pretty lengthy cooldown if you miss and the hitbox is incredibly small. I don't see a problem.
It's nowhere near as strong as old pyramid head it had no wind up and could literally hit through walls it was wider and you could physically hit a object and the pathing wasn't affected the tail while it can be dragged once it Hits a object it's hotboxes is over you gotta learn to dodge it this is basically the deathslinger all over again everyone complained endlessly about the smallest projectile hitting them at a window
@@wrydstepbr0_0 Not to mention, survivors will just bait you through a turret gauntlet so you don't have your power half the time.
Survivors literally now have 2 meta perks as base but will still complain when having to mind game at pallets because they can't just hold forward and chuck down every pallet.
@@wrydstepbr0_0That was a problem with PTB, but they massively buffed the missed hit to a point where survivors can’t make distance whether you miss or not. The strongest counterplay is to not juke and play like it’s Pyramid Head on every loop. Unless you’re using tail whip way too far away and constantly missing, you’re gonna get downs very fast even at low skill.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how the Xenomorph slightly moves into the doorway after destroying a breakable wall? Its really weird and I don't think any other killer does that

I've been running sloopy, ultimate weapon, alien instinct, and monitor with cereal rations and ovomorph add-ons! You can play so freaking aggressive with this build, I've gotten nothing but 4ks alien is pretty insane. I love it 👽

I think the 35% turret damage reduction is slept on, the double helmet add-on combo is the one I use, also instead of eruption deadlock can help you secure a clutch pop if needed.
I’ve been discouraged from using stealth/monitor on Xeno since the turrets act as a budget terror radius. Does anybody agree or is stealth still viable?

Yep, exactly how I feel as well. If the survivors are smart, they will set up the turrets immediately which will alert you if it's coming or not.
Stealth is still viable. Sure the turrets reveal you but you can absolutely get SO much closer to the survivors to initiate a chasr before they reveal you or start flaming you so it doesn't really affect your stealth too much
I feel the issue with finding the gen after exiting the tunnel. Kinda feels like a drunk alien , not knowing where the hell it ended up at
My personal favorite build and one that I have found works is
Scourge hook : Pain Resonance - gen regression
Pop Goes the Weasel - extra gen regression
Hex: Plaything - to help sneak up on survivors, also makes survivors waste time on totems
The last slot is very flexible I’ve done sloppy butcher, lethal pursuer, nowhere to hide or even fearmonger.
i have played vs a xenomorph on midwich not too long ago using a complete stealth build. that was extremely annoying and hard to deal with. they didn't use monitor & abuse though. they used alien instinct, the new furitive chase, dark devotion and trail of torment combined with xenomorph's stealth addon. those addons were the improvised cattle prod and the cat carrier.
That tail attack is so damn good like practicing and getting good with the poke is such a welcomed pallet counter

The funny thing is even tho Xeno has the tunnels for mobility, and strong chase potential the gens are STILL flying. What survivor mains don't understand is that killers SHOULD have power to them, killers like Ghost face, Myers and them are basically completely usless against an efficient team. Killers have to be nurse/blight/spirit level just to be able to compete against good survivors. What do they all have in common? Mobility and chase potential.
I like using make your choice with him as well. You can either go for hook trades off rip, or you can continue your chase or pressure you are in and come back for the rescuer when done.
My best xeno build is tremors, dead man's, Scrounge: pain resonances, and ultimate weapon. With brown add-ons the turret that destroy itself once I get out of crawl and faster crawl mode.
I think that monitor and abuse is very situational considering how the turrets act as a motion sensor.
Nowhere to hide may be a stronger pick when paired with pop and xenomorphs mobility and sound tracking while in tunnels. It may seem a bit redundant at first; the xenomorph already gains killer instinct when exiting a tunnel, but it plays better in practice imo.
I also think that there could be a more valuable perk in place of corrupt, as xenomorph can travel across the map in seconds and usually find a survivor near a tunnel right as the match starts. I was considering maybe pain resonance in it's place, but pop seems to be enough, and has better synergy with nowhere to hide and eruption. Maybe discordance, tinkerer, or call of brine would be good replacements, which would also pair extremely well with the build.
I don't know if BBQ is necessary with a build like this. After you hook someone, you will probably find what you need at a generator, especially with nowhere to hide. If not, you'll probably find someone by crawling around in the vents and looking for footsteps anyways.

Really good bill I just feel like he needs more base kit pressure because after watching the first game you can tell that despite the confusion there isn’t a whole Lotta pressure that alien actually brings to the table. He applies chase pressure but when it comes to generators, there’s really not much he can do to slow survivors down overall.

I've been turning DbD into Alien Isolation. Last game I did was Trail of Torment, Dark Devotion, Ultimate Weapon, and Hex: Third Seal. Harpoon Gun and Kane's Helmet for addons. Its been a scream. : )
EDIT: Midwich is an amazing map for alien. Just gotta get used to it.

Something I never thought about but does jolt and eruption mix since you damage a gen for eruption and down somebody with jolt would the other gens get erupted since they are technically getting damaged?
How would you compare the tail attack? Would it be safe to say the recovery from hitting someone is like t2 nem tentacle ?
They are not immune to damage when you come out you just have a hard time hitting them head on you kinda have to hit the turrets in the side
Yea monitor is so good on this killer. Going into crawler mode makes it sound like you are moving away from the survivors, so they will often get caught out of position if they don't have LOS.
I use m&a with eruption but utlimate weapon and distortion instead of pop and stuff. The 16m scream points me right to them and the blindness probably hurts windows and stuff
i've getting good results with : SH: Gift of Pain and Pain Resonance, STBFL and Rapid Aggression. Also using the fire resistance addon and the bracelet/egg.
Can u try enduring spirit fury with the iri add on after tunnels very fun to use
I've been running lethal BBQ monitor and save, save could probably be swapped for pop
The alien resurrection colonel kill when the xeno punches a hole through the back of the poor bastards skull and he grabs a piece of his own brain and obviously was in severe shock and would probably go into a coma very soon after, still if they added a Mori animation in like that whilst extremely gruesome still would be awesome to see
It would be sick if in combination with the incandescent perks the tail losses it's tip via damage some how and add an acid splash attack that adds deep wounding effect obviously molecular acid on human flesh would be quite the inflicted wounds indeed, nevertheless it woikd be really cool if they flesh out the lore amd abilities of the xeno staying true to the movies and other games

The tail is overturned, it needs a _slightly_ longer delay from noise to throw
Since I don’t have pop, I’m using overcharge instead and I think the build is pretty nice

It's a really good hit and run build
Not really understanding the not needed buff to alien I played as him and against him in the ptb and he was a ton of fun to play against and play as and he honestly needed nothing I had such little quips about him and now he is kinda insane
After playing Xeno for awhile I'm pretty convinced the build hardly matters as long as you have a tracking perk. If you're finding survivors consistently than the momentum just naturally follows (Ultimate Weapon in particular being insanely good for this). A lot of slow down value comes from Grim Embrace as well. It happens so much I hook someone, proc UW, walk away from hook, GE activates, I find another survivor and they go down before GE deactivates and I hook them slightly after it goes down and it activates again. The combo is kinda stupid consistent and all you're doing is chasing instead of checking and kicking gens. I also bring Lightborn and Iron Grasp to make sure I never miss hooks from random flash saves and Boil Over shenanigans but that's just a me thing. Just remember Background Player and Flashbangs is still a very popular playstyle that can absolutely kill your momentum and I prefer using the perk slot to not have to ever worry about it. I've also gotten way too many hits and downs from people trying to blind me at pallets which is always hilarious to me.

Uhh, the survivors I've been playing against generally have entire turret gauntlets always set up where I will be chasing them and my power is gone for half the game if I don't bring addons to weaken them. I've also seen strong survivors vacuum tech to the pallets to stun me as well as convincingly fake going to windows/pallets and then immediately 90 degree run to the side which is farther than the drag of the tail allows for.
Xeno is far from "uncounterable": people are just in the arms race stage right now against the killer learning how to counter it and once they do the real placement will be revealed. (It's the same tricks as countering Nemi) I still think the killer is better than Nemi, mainly because the mobility & 2 hit tail work better than the RNG zombies and 3 hits to down.
I remember when Tru3talent would time and time again mind game and fake out spirits to prove you can out play them but nah, the killer is just a bit for the killer instinct now and it's suuuper boring. ALL they had to do was make vfx for her using the power.
@@Feetism To fix the Xeno complaints they just need to add a more pronounced animation and sound queue for the tail attack and then make some of Emergency Helmet basekit + fix the turret hitboxes so they can be hit while they're off.

I was playing xeno against my friend, he was standing still in front of me to help me practice tail attack: NOT ONE HIT, no matter what angle or distance. It just looked like there was a bulletproof wall between us.

Best addons are Emergency Helmet and Lambert's Star Map. Makes turrets completely useless.

If they slow vault out and you grab they still can. Flashbangs can still work for it too, but it has to happen after the grab while the killer has the ability to look away.

You aren't faster in crawl mode but the FOV increase from Monitor and Abuse makes it feel faster
This is why people think the name was changed from Runner Mode to Crawler Mode. ‘Runner’ might imply faster.
@@StrikorD4C that made sense to me, a Runner is a type of Xenomorph that uses mostly all fours and is quicker than a drone/warrior [dog alien from Alien3] . I thought it was confusing for people who didn't know that because they'd assume it was faster. Weirdly i heard ot was moreso due to people thinking the bipedal mode was "Running" and....well, What??

This is the hardest map for Xeno in my opinion. There's like two or three tunnel exits I think that put you next to a generator that's in a different room....

I will never use corrupt intervention. I will not handicap myself with only 3 perks after a few minutes into the match

In its nerfed state it's pretty garbage but old corrupt you could get 2 or 3 hooks in before it expired. That's huge.
@dbdstuff lethal can add 2 more seconds to any aura reading abilities, and in this game, every second can change the outcome of the match.
It's very helpful for other killers who lack the insane mobility that Xenomorph has, but it isn't always the best choice. Still s great perk, though.

Trying to figure out how to play against Xeno as survivor has been pretty fun. I’ve found that the best way to play chase against Xeno is to use survivor mindgames as much as possible. Faking one way and going another works pretty well, hugging pallet loops very tightly and being very greedy works even better. Windows are useless against Xeno unless you get enough of a headstart, so always go for pallets. However, baiting the Xeno into using tail attack and *then* vaulting a window parallel to you works sometimes. It’s definitely possible to outplay this killer, you just need to get a bit creative.
The biggest problem with xenomorph can be found in the video here 16:02 and here 16:38
in 16:02 the steve has zero counter play to the Xenos power aside from pray the Xeno misses.
and at 16:38 the alien can choose to just ignore that turret and keep the power indefinitely until the next turret hits them. I believe the best fix to possibly add is to make Xenos power run on a time limit to feel rewarding to loop but just as strong when they have it and make turrets take less of the power but still feel impactful when hitting Xeno with it.
Runner mode is a bit overtuned right now while Xeno is new to the game.
Some add ons like the turret vision are way too strong with how fast Xeno can traverse the map. Overall right now Xeno is very fun to face but just like how people always do somebodys gonna git too gud for the games balance with Xenos current state.

for casual average players alien is my least favourite killer yet, everyone using it just camps and the tail attack has way too much speed in the cool-down

@@Superyan100 The only thing that was patched was grabbing them while they're inside the locker, there's a difference. You just gotta do what Tofu did and M1 lunge as they're entering it or exiting the locker. Doing it from close range will grab them instead and they can flashlight save. That's all intended.

Tofu.... when they were at the lockers... just... press space. Grab them out of the locker. They removed flashlight saves out of lockers a while ago so it wouldn't have worked anyway 😂

This killer is so easy to play it’s kinda crazy how people are defending this especially after playing against it there’s literally nothing you can do at certain loops and she can zone tf out of you in general making looping extremely difficult against her and the counterplay relying on the killer to mess up and not you outplaying them
Even tofu said it himself like even if you juke the tail you can just drag it and it’ll still hit if you wanna be extra sure to hit them “so like wtf can they do”
Xeno is like huntress if she was allowed to always hold her hatchet and move at regular 4.6 with no cooldown AND have a teleport too
