Maybe I could guest star. I'm not as famous as well-known UA-camrs for video essays, but I could help with some information you learned about, and the names of future Genndy Tartakovsky movies for Sony. And maybe my own opinions on Genndy's works as well.
Primal is a masterpiece. He really took the concept of no dialogue and heavy emphasis on visual storytelling. It's for the children who grew up with his cartoons and are now adults.
Couldn't agree more. Powerpuff girls was my favorite from when I was old enough to tell my parents what I wanted to watch. Samurai Jack and Clone Wars kept me on the edge of my seat through grade school. Watching through Primal now with the same excitement.
I like how genndy works well with silence, like those episodes of Samurai Jack with little to no voice acting, and that one episode of Clone Wars where the stranded clones are on radio silence
I loved the first Hotel Transylvania and never knew Tartakovsky worked on it. He really made it something special and the way he added 2D characteristics to the 3D animation really made it look good! When I think of that film, my mind instantly thinks of all the exaggerated still poses and facial expressions. And that man deserves an award for removing motion blur in a 3D animated movie, more 3D films and shows should follow suit. The action and movements all look so much clearer without an annoying motional blur smudging everything. I remember watching the final season of the 3D Clone Wars and was annoyed by how the show had added motion blur. It really made some of the season's actions scenes less clear than in older seasons. What should have been newer, better animation was marred by the addition of motion blur.
Hotel Transylvania was made for entertainment and escapism. An escape to the hotel. I never took the trilogy seriously, and that's why I love it! There's a time to turn on the brain and there are times to turn them off and laugh at the gags.
True but other than the animation, I don’t think Genndy should have done the sequels, he should have done his own shows and gotten to do Popeye and Can You Imagine? at Sony while some other director made the sequels.

I loved most of Samurai Jack Season 5. It’s just the ending that made me feel meh. I mean at first I didn’t like it and thought it felt pretty underwhelming but after the game came out it did make the ending so much better but looking back now I do respect the original ending. Even so I do still think the game and its conclusion and true ending is still loads better.
Imagine if this guy creates a Hellboy animated series like adapting the Short stories of hellboy, it's a perfect fit to his style of visual storytelling and the aeasthetic.
Genndy was probably the first modern animation director that I discovered, it helps that during commercial breaks Cartoon Network used to interview their shows creators, others featured were Danny Antonucci from Ed, Edd & Eddy. I grew up watching Dexter's Lab on Cartoon Network Latin America in the late 90s and when before Samurai Jack's premiere they showed those interviews. Despite being totally different in tone I could immediately recognize the similarities between his shows. Clone Wars was actually my first contact with Star Wars
I grew up with this mans work as a child watching all his cartoons. He honestly is a huge inspiration for me because I’m coming up with my own cartoon. I wish to meet Genndy one day to tell him about my idea just to get a good opinion off of him or maybe some advice he’d be willing to give. I’m not a great artist but the story is coming along well and I can’t wait for more of his work to be put out.

Wow had no idea he worked on Hotel Transylvania, that feels so random to me. And 1000% agree with the majority of your points, I absolutely loved what he did with The Clone Wars. Probably the only time General Grevious was actually a potent, well designed, badass, threat and I loved that.
Genndy is amazing. Samurai Jack and Titan gets a lot of replay in my house. As a non fan of Star Wars his version was incredible. Primal was great and Unicorn was good. Love the little to no dialogue method.

14:27 Yeah, I didn't have a problem with Jack & Ashi's relationship. And I honestly think people who are trying to make an issue out of their relationship because Jack is apparently immortal while Ashi is younger are frankly just looking for something to complain about. In fact, I think people overlook the symbolic nature of their relationship, Jack & Ashi represent yin & yang. If Jack vs Aku was about light vs the darkness then Jack & Ashi's relationship is about the harmony between light and darkness which is ultimately leads Jack defeating Aku once and for all. The only fundamental problem that I had with the series finale is that it felt too rushed and you can tell that Genndy wanted to do much more to bring Samurai Jack to an epic conclusion.
I liked Ashi. Glad she was in the season. I like how she showed Jack's influence while travelling to all the places he had been. It was a great recap of his journey that was about to end.
I was always disappointed that symbiotic titan got cancelled. I loved it as a kid and thought it had a lot of potential with cool plot ideas. All of these cartoons were my favorites growing up and I'd like to start watching Primal soon 👏
or it could be a combination of Kurosawa, Miller, AND the 70s Kung Fu series. I can pull up my source that says Kung Fu was an inspiration for Samurai Jack if you don't believe me.

Don't get me wrong, some had a great storyline and character development, but it was just the style was tiresome to look at.
Samurai Jack and Clone Wars. Bro, the cinematic references and pure utter utilization of the characters to their max potential in Clone Wars is mind blowing. Honestly even though it's for adults, primal is a great kids show. 12 year old boys will love it, and it'll do wonders for their imagination.
