I have a huge mulberry tree and enjoy them allot but...so does the birds....LOL. We also have crab apples and wild blackberries. My wife makes jam out of the crab apples.

@@AskDaddyjoe Ya the crows have been around it as well along with a flock of turkeys. The berries are about done now so not much activity anymore.
In public places like in community parks I think allot of them should have some fruit trees like this cherry tree being to me if some people are hungry they can have a public tree to eat from with out worrying of going onto other people's property if they don't have a whole lot of money to buy fresh fruit

I think this is the tree we have in our yard. It has white flowers for a couple of weeks at the end of May but never has fruit. Its over 16 years old at least. There is another tree that grew a ways away that is now finally getting the flowers as well. Why no berries do you think?

yes, this tree has white flowers in early spring and when the cherries are ripe in mid-summer they will begin to fall from the tree.
